The location is gorgeous, along the Blanda River. The lovely owner upgraded us to a cabin with a private hot tub, which was so kind. The cottage was spacious, bright and homey.

Solid experience, lovely location. There were no other guests so it was super quiet, and perhaps a little desolate. Really wonderful location.

We arrived into the property and there was no one at the reception. We had to call a number that was printed in a paper sheet on the window. But it wasn’t bad because they arrived maybe 5 minutes before we called.

It was pretty convenient, because we were doing the ring road and we needed a place to spend the night before arriving into Reikiavik again. It was in front of a restaurant that serves food from morning to 10 pm, which is not common in Iceland. There’s a gas station pretty near the property and a supply store. The room was spacious and clean.

The natural surroundings of the property are beautiful. Reindeer played in the field in front of the guesthouse. Glacier was visible from the property.

Nothing to dislike

Nice modern accommodation in the Guest House. Very comfortable room and en-suite bathroom. Some early evening noise from the next room but it wasn’t a problem. Had access to a very large well equipped kitchen and dining area. Pleasant staff. Short walk to the restaurant across the road.

This was a good location. Across the street was a gas station and a restaurant, a few minutes, drive from the community pool. The host was very friendly and helpful. You share a common area with tables in the kitchen. Room had a private bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and we had our best night sleep here.

Beautiful place, very cozy and clean. Close to town, but extremely quiet and silent during the night. Shared kitchen well furnished and spotless clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed in the main lodge, which is wood paneled, well heated, features an expansive kitchen, and was overall very cozy. The man who welcomed us and checked us in was very nice. A supermarket and restaurants are within short walking distance.

Very good equipped kitchen and large dining room. Different rooms available, we had one with private bathroom. Very clean and the location was easy to be found.

No soap for shower, just a hand soap that made my hands feel like sandpaper. No heating in room, it was very cold in the morning. Finally, my husband showered, and the slope from the shower caused water to go everywhere. Through the room out to the hallway.

Room was large and clean. Wonderful kitchen facilities, made it easy to have a good breakfast. Owner/host was pleasant and helpful.

I arrived to the facility , no one was there , the phone number on the front door to call the owners was wrong , luckily I had the correct number from my booking .com confirmation otherwise I would have had to sleep in my car because I had no way to contact them . when the lady finally arrived , the reception wasn’t very warm , there as mo coffee or anything else to drink in the facility , I was all alone there from the time of my check in until a few minutes when I checked out the next morning . it felt uncomfortable . the room was ok , clean but gave me a feeling I’m in a hostel for the price of a moderate level hotel . the faculty was significantly overpriced in comparison to other places I stayed during my trip for the same price or cheaper . overall , not a good deal .
