Location. Loved the clamping experience. I was skeptical but proven wrong. Exceeded expectations

Minor inconveniences No ventilation in the toilet. The upper bed gets heated more than convenient when the stove is on.

Great room. Clean and well appointed. Impressed.

Hot when we arrived and only way to cool room down was to open door. Got cold at night and fireplace started off well but did not stay lit as intended.

It was the coolest place we stayed. There are 2 space heaters in addition to the wood fireplace, so the temperature was never a problem. The second bed is lofted and provides plenty of space. We were provided with plenty of towels and the bathroom had nice toiletries. There are trails surrounding the camping area and it’s a nice, peaceful hike. Highly recommend exploring around the property. Having a restaurant and mini mart right outside the camping area was very convenient.

There were midges, but that’s not within control of the property manager!

4 of us stayed here end of Feb. Lovely cosy place to stay, comfortable beds, lovely fire with plenty of fire wood. it did get very hot in the bed on the mezz. unfortunately it was cloudy and snowing so didn't get to see the northern lights.

The track to the dome needs some work, its ok if in a 4x4 or a car with high ground clearance. unfortunately we ended up with a £700 bill from the car hire firm due to damage to the under side of the car. 3 off us had to get out of the car and walk down the track so the car didnt bottom out so much.

Amazing stay! Very special experience with amazing facilities and great views of the northern lights. Staff left a cake for my husbands birthday which was a lovely additional touch

Nice dome but little broken so was very cold inside. Once you fire the woods it gets warmer. Location super good away from city.

The property was beautiful! Very secluded.

Our dome was the first one by the parking lot. That meant people constantly were flashing their lights into our windows trying to figure out where to go because you couldn’t drive up to the dome. Then a group of people stood in the parking lot talking with their lights on facing us. Ours was the first dome and we had to drag luggage up to the dome because you can’t drive up to it. If you were the 3rd then it was a farther haul. One of the space heaters didn’t work but it was still nice inside.

Amazing glamping experience next to the Icelandic forest in a peaceful location. The glamping pods felt very luxurious, with modern facilities. If it hadn't been cloudy we would have had a fantastic view of the night sky!! It was my husband's birthday and the owner had gone out of their way to make it feel special including a beautiful chocolate cake and Champagne for our arrival, totally unexpected !! Thank you so much for making our stay feel so special.

The property is beautiful. It sits secluded in the woods, the interior is delightfully decorated and measures are taken to warm the property where feasible. I used it as a location to propose to my partner and it was picturesque in all the right ways.

With Iceland's variable weather, there is a challenge to drive out of the property because there is a steep hill. More frequent gritting could easily solve this.

If you are an animal lover, and you like a rat (mice). You find the right place to get close to this animal. Congrat!

We found a few rats in dome no.2. Very dirty place. The bedsheet, pillow, towel. Everything is so disgusting. And then we found a rat run all around in our dome. People plz dont come to stay at this place. What a true nightmare. Ps. I booked all 3 dome for my family. Everyone blamed me a lot about this accommodation. Everything is so bad , esp a rats !!

The overall experience of being in a cozy dome in the winter in a storm was super. It was warm and comfy in our bubble, kids had an amazing time, and we the parents even found a bottle of wine for us. Highly recommend.for a couple or a family of four like us

There was a minor glitch with accessing the property because of a frozen lock, but the maintenance crew fixed it in 15 minutes.

Loved the location and the dome was lovely. Perfect for my birthday evening and kids loved it .

A couple of things not working correctly, coffee machine broken, toilet continuously flushing/filling.

We loved the dome! It’s comfortable, cozy, spacious, well decorated, the facilities were excellent, and we were well received with a delicious Icelandic cake and bottle of wine for our birthday and anniversary celebration. Golden domes made our stay very special! This will always be a special place for us! Everything was also very clean, organized, and the fire place was great!
