Kitchen could have been better equipped. If you’re not cooking and just using for basics it’s fine. We chose to cook. We didn’t have a good knife to cut with.

The view was amazing. Great deck. Very comfortable bed. Great place to sit and read. Very quiet.

There was nothing about this property that I did not like - I extended my stay here by a night!

Location! Truly beautiful location right at the entrance to Snæfellsnes National Park. The view of the ocean allowed for watching seals and sea birds as well as beautiful sunsets. Really can’t explain the location, it’s incredible!

There was one window in the living room that didn’t close properly and kept popping open. For us it made it a little cold and I would imagine in the summertime it would cause a problem by letting in the flies. They need to put a simpler coffee machine in the kitchen. The only thing available was a large barista type machine with no instructions.

Breathtaking view! Very large balcony and very tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable and they were so kind to leave us some free drinks in the fridge.

There was a basket in the fridge that said that they were treating us to a few "drinks and snacks" but our basket was empty. It made us feel a little bit bad. We weren't expecting such a nice thing but when it was there supposedly for others and not for us, it made us sad.

Everything was perfect. The view was amazing. Would definitely recommend Sea View Apartment Gotuhus to other travelers.

A little bit of deicing salt and a snow shovel would have been helpful ....

A large and cosy appartment, well equiped, warm and cosy with stunning views all around. We had a lot of snow and saw the first northern lights of our lifes. Snaefellsnes was so amazing, we spent days here we will never forget.

No tea :( and the HiFi plug also doesn’t reach the outlet. May need to replace the one bed. I love a super soft bed but others may not

The cost, this was the biggest expenditure and I felt so guilty about it Additionally the not so great thing about the location is there is literally nothing close for food or coffee. There's the hostel but that wasn't something we wanted to do. We learned the town doesn't open until 10a

The location from the point of traveling The open space for the living room was open and inviting I absolutely adore the telescope The book selection with the Iceland book was great The welcome beers were appreciated.

The shower head was just handheld without a mount, so it made showering more complicated.

The whole place needs proper maintenance, the furniture is dated and the floors have water damage all over. The kitchen and bathroom were not clean when we arrived - there were food crumbs in the fridge, the rubbish was left after the previous guests and the kitchen utensils (frying pan, chopping board, oven glove) were dirty. The bathroom cabinet was full of half used toilet rolls and the towels, although clean, looked very old and sad. You would expect a better standard for the price and some of the issues mentioned here could be easily fixed with minimum effort.

Amazing location with panoramic views over the sea. One wakes up and falls asleep to the sound of the waves. The apartment is very spacious, the bedroom is a decent size too and the beds very comfortable. Parking on site. The terrace is no longer shared with the neighbours, a wooden wall has been built to divide the terrace so each apartment has their own private part.

Lovely cottage in a superb location by the coast. Very comfortable and had everything you needed. The village was very small which was part of the adventure.

Wish we'd known that EVERYTHING closes early (6 pm) in this sleepy hamlet. We would've stopped in Olafsvik for groceries ahead of time.

The location is terrific, with spectacular views of the ocean through large "picture windows" in the living room and bedroom. Given that Hellisandur is such a small town, Gotuhus is within easy walking distance of the restaurants, gas station with groceries, the legendary The Freezer culture club and hostel, and the entrance to Snaefellsjokull National Park.

Really nice place with an exceptional view. Perfect location. Appartement very well equipped and comfortable. Proximity to Gilbakki Kaffihus one of the best we found on our tour of Iceland

Could have used driving instructions for the coffee maker.

Location is the best, with resident seals, there is no reason to go out looking for something to do.

Mosquito bites :$ The frying pan would deserve to be changed.

Everything was great ! Comfy wide bed, nice kitchen, laundry and dishes machine, coffee machine, binoculars, stereo bluetooth. Very cool balcony with wide view on the sea and sunset.

Looks like some slight water damage in bathroom and eating area. Needs repairs.
