The most expensive one night accommodation we stayed in, but we understand that you pay for this location.

Accommodation 2/9 on an 11 day trip around Iceland. Very peaceful location near to Dyrhólaey/Reynisfjara/Vik, despite being conveniently close to the ring road. We had cabin #9 which was the last on the upper level, with three cabins below. Lovely personal comms advice about nearby attractions received from the hosts.

Not really a "didn't like", more of a "we wish we had." We wish the cottage had a microwave to warm meals. We were able to still make meals. However, if you wanted pop popcorn or warm leftovers, it us a bit more difficult.

Nice location just outside of Vik and near Black Sand Beach and Dyrhólaey. Comfortable bed and reclining chairs with a great view (when it's not raining). Nice to be able to make meals. The cottage does not have a TV, so you get to truly unplug.

    Liked everything!

Convenient, lovely location, everything we needed for a short stay in a tiny house! She also gave lots of ideas of activities and sites to visit. Highly recommend!

    Unique property; classically Icelandic chill

Nothing, it’s good. It’s not a typical hotel with a reception or amenities but what it does offer it does a good job with. It’s also not in town (Vik) which didn’t matter to us but perhaps could be a bit of a negative since you always have to drive in.

This is something different. It’s a mini house with a small kitchen and sitting area, bathroom and a bedroom the size of a bed. It’s basic but has a charm to it. We arrived late and left early so didn’t really spend much time but found the bed extremely comfortable, the shower solid and the locale classically Icelandic chill - so quiet, so still, so beautiful

It is rather compact, minimal decoration.

The 'cottage' is comfortable, has all the essentials, is well designed for a holiday stop. It is modern, easy to find, and well located for exploring Southern Iceland. Good shower, comfortable bed to sleep in. Easy parking next the accommodation.

Nothing. They do not have TV but it is only advantage for me

It is so close to Vik if you need anything but far enough to feel you are in countryside and the views are stunning

Simple bungalows, but comfortable with a pleasant view (as long the neighbors don't park their car just in front of the bungalows 😔). We enjoyed our stay, and the kitchenette allows to do simple cooking.

Bedroom very small and no room for suitcases, we had 2 lovely comfy lounge chairs but didn't use them as that was really the only place we could put our 2 suitcase.

Cosy comfortable cottage, easy self check-in, host very responsive and we had a lovely view. Kitchenette good to cook basics, though a microwave would have been useful. Great shower.

Everyone has a parking spot except the last one, meaning we had 2 cars, ours and our neighbor, parked on our spot and they did a lot of back and forth which was a bit of a pain.

The location is great, the views over the bay and sea is really nice. The cottage is small but very convenient.

    Nothing.

Gorgeous little cabins with all the facilities you need. We stayed 2 nights using the cabin as our base between Reykjavik and the Glacial Lagoon. The weather was amazing so had breakfast and dinner out on the porch. There were little birds flying and hovering above, and also across the way in the fields. There is a really cool beach just a few minutes away. It has lots of rock formations and sea stack etc. Also a little further is a nature reserve and lighthouse where the puffins have their burrows.

Great location just outside of Vik. Convenient to be able to park right outside the cottage.
