Very sweet house like my home. It’s sharing house with owners, but very worth while to spend a night in nowhere. Thanks for the breakfast.

Location was handy to Dettifoss and the included breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were in the hosts house and although small were very comfy and clean. There was only one bathroom for two hosts and four guests. This wasn’t an issue over our two day stay. Had our own space of an evening overlooking the mountains, fields and ponds. The hosts were very respectful of our space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The eastern side gravel road to Dettifoss and further north was ok to drive in our rented Kia Sportage.

Instructions to accommodation could have been more detailed. House is the second house past the reception house with flags. This is a different owner who wasn’t very helpful.

Sigga was friendly and hospitable. She made us Icelandic breakfast. We shared stories and laughter. The house was clean and renovated. It's a few minute drive from the highway on a gravel road with some potholes. It's close to the geothermal area and Dettifoss (waterfall).

We truly appreciated the hostess's remarkable kindness, the calm and quiet of her home and the delicious, hearty breakfeast with homemade products she served.

Sigga is a very good hostess and they have a beautiful house. It's nice to meet such people when traveling.

Cozy room in great location when I planned to visit the two sides of Dettifoss. The guesthouse rooms are part of a nice lady and her husband's house, which is lovely. Guests can use the living room and even the kitchen. I like the glasshouse-like living area where we had breakfast. The view is spectacular. The bedroom is clean with comfortable beds. The shared bathroom is kept clean. The homemade breakfast was excellent. I love the smoked salmon and pancake. Plus, staying here also offered a good opportunity to talk to the local people and learn Icelandic culture and useful words.

I cannot find the type C power sockets in the room and I forgot to ask for the wifi.

Guesthouse is interesting experience

The very homely atmosphere was very much appreciated, and the kindness of the charming hosts was extremely heartwarming. Felt like being at home...

Lovely hosts, beautiful house and it’s surroundings, cosy veranda and very confortable beds. And homemade breakfast!!! Wonderful experience.

The host was kind, has a beautiful home, and it’s in a very private and quiet location. A good stop while traveling the north of Iceland.
