Review for accomodation We were warmly welcomed by Jacob, who helped with our luggage. The room was super clean and comfortable for two people, with fresh towels provided. The bathroom and WC are shared, but they are kept so clean that everyone makes the effort to maintain them. There’s also a cosy corner outside the rooms for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. Although we were not able to see the Northern Lights, we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.

Loved the breakfast - one of the best meals we had in Iceland. Nice view of trees from the dining room, where we lingered over our toast, lox, and tea. The rooms were clean, quiet, and just what we wanted. The woman who greeted us at the front desk (Birgid?) was so kind and welcoming. All our clothes were soaking wet from the rain, and she gave us a drying rack and, if that didn't work, offered to dry our clothes in the staff's dryer. I loved the location, surrounded by a sweeping view of a dramatic landscape.

Such a minor thing! I wished there was soap and laundry detergent available so I could scrub out a stain in my jacket. The closest restaurants and shops were about a 20-minute drive, and dinner options were limited.

Such a good location! The man working at the guesthouse was so kind. He helped us plan activities for our trip. The breakfast was simple but delicious! There were 2 nice lounge areas with coffees and tea!

We loved this bed-and-breakfast! It was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and it was nice and quiet. We would definitely come back, the food was excellent, and we had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend it.

I love this place so much. It feels like home. The breakfast was superb specially the smoke salmon i like so much. I would definitely stay again here when I come back to Iceland. The host were very nice and accommodating. Shower and bathroom are clean and enough to share with everyone.

Beautiful property, convenient location and lovely hosts. There is a lounge area complete with complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fridge. The breakfast was fabulous and included homemade goodies like marriage cake.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable rates (for Iceland!) Warm,clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast including Icelandic marriage cake which was delicious.

A bit remote vs lodgings on closer vicinity to Selfoss, but given weed done the ring road clockwise, being a few miles from a large ‘metropolis’ was nuffin’ compared to places we’d stayed up north. Perfectly adequate, totally accessible by car on 10 minutes.

Didn't realize how far out of Selfoss this location is. This meant a lot of driving in and back.

Good location on South Coast with access to Golden Circle, South Coast and Reykjavik. Basic but very comfortable rooms and bed with everything you need. Spotlessly clean shared WC and shower and excellent breakfast. Provided area with kettle, tea, coffee, chocolate, microwave, sink and fridge. Staff very helpful . Overall excellent value

We had a great stay at the guesthouse on top of the hill. The location is great next to the cross roads of Golden Circle and the road to south coast. The facilities were in really great shape and the rooms were comfy and clean.

As the location is about 10 km from Sellfoss you need to head out for dinner but since every body is probably renting a car to get here anyway this is a small inconvenience.

Everything was just perfect. Friendly staff, cleanliness, good location, cosy rooms, very good and varied breakfast.
