Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe originally asked for a high floor and a quiet room. The room turned out to be almost closet-sized with a window that opened to constant AC motor noise. We had to ask to be moved and fortunately were able to move to a quiet room.
Staff serving breakfast in the morning were friendly and helpful.

HungaryTop quality beds and linens that made me look forward for my rest. Rooms, common area, bathrooms and toilets were super clean and well looked after. Me and my wife stayed a week and will be back for sure. Most pleasant surprise was the dinner they served : ))

NetherlandsWe were your first Guests. I was so impressed with your staff of 2! A great meal was had. You have a very interesting and capable chef; we had great conversations about food in that quiet moment before the wedding party started to fill the place. The short menu was brilliant. When I return in the early fall, I am from New Orleans, I would love to offer a Jambalaya evening. Renata is the quintessential maîtres de hotel, both engaging and practical at the same time. We had the luxury of being the first to put our heads down on our new beds. Al was in process and I look forward to seeing the totally finished project. ONWARD! You tip the scales in Þingeyri, maybe even the fishermen can have work now taking the tourists out and telling tales. Your new government girls seem to be stirring the pot, there is that, too!

United StatesThe building is an old biscuit factory so it was easy to get lost in the hallways. Our room had a nice view.
We arrived on a Sunday evening after the kitchen had closed and the only other cafe in town was also closed. The staff generously offered us fruit, juice and sandwiches to eat which was much appreciated by two hungry travelers. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were excellent. The room was large and well decorated. Complimentary jackets were available to wear if you were cold. The hotel is an easy walk to the cute bakery /cafe open for breakfast and lunch where you can also inquire about and book horse riding tours which we did. The gift shop- information center has unique local handmade crafts the owner has a a very good eye for interesting and unique objects.

FranceBasic non refundable small attic twin room with bathroom in 4/F with breakfast included @ 217€ (I know Iceland is expensive but still…) Friendly and nice staff but not very efficient (very very slow to answer all requests. For each of them, you need to ask to 2 to 3 people to get a key, a table, a service, an answer…). A little messy in the organisation.
We liked the location in the village on our way to isafjorour. Friendly staff. Room and breakfast were ok. We enjoyed our diner on site. Good ambiance in the restaurant in G/F. No fridge in the room but they agreed to keep our food and ice packs in their kitchen.
