Rooms were very nice and clean, nice breakfast, atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The location is also very convenient, close to several restaurants, petrol station, shops. Very friendly and super helpful hosts.

The accommodation is nice, the atmosphere friendly and homy. The breakfast was excellent. I love the view from the breakfast area/living room. Beautiful view over the fjord. The place is centrally located in the middle of town. The outside facilities are great, the outdoor shower, wonderful showering outside looking at the mountain. The veranda is great and in the evening we light the fire in the outdoor fireplace and sat around.

I could not believe how clean, modern, comfortable, and beautiful this guest house was! Upon booking, and knowing we would be sharing bathrooms with strangers, we were a little nervous as we are very clean people, but it was no problem at all. The owners are some of the kindest people we met in Iceland, and they are exceptionally hard-working. The facilities were all spotless, very modern and beautiful, and the beds were very cosy as well. I wish we had time to stay here longer, I was just the main lounge is a very awesome place to hang out with a great view. I cannot recommend this guest house enough. It is an exceptionally well run business that goes way above and beyond to make you feel at home!

Noise from the floor when other people went to the bathroom or to the breakfast was clearly audible in our room, waking us up; however, our room was very close to the dining area and a bathroom, so this might not be a general issue. Price is a bit high, but one has to say that "high prices" is kind of in line with what one has to expect this far up north.

We are always a bit skeptical about shared bathrooms, but here there seem to be enough facilities, so guests generally don't have to "stand in line". Staff was very friendly, we had quite a few enjoyable conversations. Very good breakfast. Good Location to explore the Westfjords.

We were there early in the season, but it would have been great if the outdoor shower was working.

This guesthouse is like the most upscale hostel ever. The shared bathrooms were REALLY nice, the common room was huge and beautiful, with a great view of the bay. It was quiet, easy to park, and the two young folks who checked us in were so friendly and helpful.

Wifi didn't work in the second building where we stayed, but was fine in the central lobby.

Great location to explore the region. Beautiful views of the fjord. Late checkout allowed us to do some early morning drive to see birds, and still pack. Very clean community spaces and free coffee.

Bear in mind as you stay with people, they might cook very smelly food which is going to reach your room. Nothing you can do but indeed a good practice would be to remind people to open the windows when cooking.

The only minor downside was that the water pressure in the shower could have been a bit stronger.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse—our only regret was not booking more than one night! The common area offers a stunning panoramic view of the fjord, and the entire place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There’s a well-equipped kitchen for guests, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. The outdoor area—with a barbecue and even an outdoor shower—is a lovely bonus. Highly recommended if you're visiting Patreksfjörður.
