The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. Beautiful view of the lake.

Well located in a lake. Quiet area not far from main road. Kitchen is huge and with all you need. Nice view. Rooms are nice and comfortable.

Price is too high as everywhere else in Iceland.

Check in/out and usage of facilities is very easy. View is scenic. Staff is very helpful!

Pillow can be with better quality and firmness. Kitchen utensils can be with wider range for example bowls.

We stayed in two rooms as there was not one room large enough for the 5 of us and this was ok. The property is quiet and absolutely beautiful. My only issue was that I had thought there was breakfast with the rental, but there is not. You have to make sure you bring all of your food and drinks with you. There is a shared kitchen area with a coffee machine and tea kettle (we were only ones there that evening so had it to ourselves which was nice). Had we known we would have brought coffee, creamer and sugar as the closest town is about 20 minutes away. I would stay here again, but wish I had planned better to accommodate for some breakfast and morning coffee. Host quick to respond and there was a person on site to let us in to the building where the rooms were. Rooms and bathroom were clean. We even had ravens greet us early in the morning.

Based on reviews and ad, i knew we had to bring our own food, but some sugar and creamers would have been a nice added touch.

Booking.com sold us the accommodation with breakfast included, which was information from last year, not the fact of today.

The facility was very clean and provided a good location for our travels.

Clean and neat, good accommodation with shared kitchen and dining area in very good condition. Quiet and out of main area. Margeta took very good care of things and was very helpful and warm persona. We cannot find anything wrong with this place at all.

In a quiet location

There are four bedrooms with doors that open directly into the dining and living area. Fortunately, everyone went to bed on time.

the only very small downside is that all the rooms face the shared common area but honestly , everything else was just perfect

Good location, good sized room, breakfast included, little church and cemetery on the grounds, easy parking, clean and comfortable bed and room, we were given choice of room, which was nice off the owner

mould in bathroom with no ventilation so the floor gets wet easily as bathroom is shared with 4 other rooms located in the same hallway, blinds do not fit the windows, extremely hard towels, you're literally drying yourself with a sandpaper, there is only 1 small table with 4 chairs in the kitchen, so only one room can reasonably be preparing food at any one time, it gets crowded very easily, no microwave, lack of utensils and plates

Excellent stop for the drive between Blonduos and Akureyri. Beautiful farm house overlooking the lake. Definition of peacefulness.

Breakfast is pretty basic with few selection of meat and eggs. Shared bathroom is adjacent to another guest room with loud toilet flushing so we are hesitant to use it at night.

Off the beaten trail and sits on a lake. Is part of an operating farm. Had the opportunity to talk to someone about how the farms operate. Full kitchen available for an evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. Could not ask for better services. On departure I left our coats on a bench by the door while putting on our shoes. Owner of the property mailed them to a hotel we were staying in later in the trip.

Very easy to find and the hosts met us and showed us to our room and various amenities. Beds were comfy and the common areas (a living room/dining room combo and a kitchen) were very helpful!

Walls a little bit thin but everyone was respectfully quiet after 10pm

The building with the rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen is not so soundproof , e.g. a door to the kitchen would help.
