We didn’t like the shower because there was a half door the water wetted the whole bathroom.

The property is in a pretty good location. It was very quiet and peaceful. It is very clean. The staffs are very friendly.

A bit of a junkyard feel around the building but didn't detract from stay and beauty of location.

The rooms were a bit smaller than the other places we stayed and the kitchen is a bit small too.

The area around the house is a mess. There is trash and old machinery everywhere. Just gives a very bad impression and made us uncomfortable. Our room was super hot and we had trouble sleeping, especially since our room was on the ground floor and having the window open all night to cool down wasn’t the best feeling.

The room where we were did not have a radiator, which is inconvenient in winter because our clothes were wet due to the snow, and there were no common radiators to use. According to the pictures, other rooms have radiators, so we just had bad luck, but it was a bit annoying. On the other hand the room was warm, so no problems concerning the room temperature.

The kitchen is nicely equipped, with a coffee machine which makes a various selection of drinks. The location as well is really convenient, only few minutes away from Hofn.

It's not convenient to take off your shoes at the entrance. The check-out was earlier than usual which took us aback.

Nice place with a pretty kitchen (even two I would say). There is a room for quests where you can drink free coffee from a coffee machine. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom.

The guesthouse is set on a hill with beautiful views of the mountains and the harbor. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have nice views. Shared kitchen is a great asset. We didn't have any trouble with the shared bathroom or other guests. Rooms are pretty small, but fine enough. Overall a great value.

Super clean, super cheap, good service, nice public kitchen, location stunning, with a view of the glaciers, excellent for Northern lights exploring. Just the closest surroundings need a clean up, construction material and such.

We stayed one night in this accomodation for one night during our trip to the north, where not a lot of low cost accomodation available. We were pleasenly supprised by the cosyness, cleanness of rooms and shared bathrooms. Morover we really enjoyed warm free drinks, coming after long day trip, it lift our spirits 🙂.

Very nice stay. Of course, after a day of horrible weather, anywhere warm and dry would have been welcome. This house definitely exceeded that. Comfy beds. Great kitchen. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more all available at any time of day or night.
