Clean hotel and convenient 😊 There’re plenty of parking space. We arrived late but the keys were kept in a safe in front of the hotel so it’s super convenient to check in.

The only drawback we saw was that there was no scale available to check the weight of our suitcases before going to the airport. The receptionist said that they had one, but it got picked up by a customer just a few days ago and was never returned back,

There was no breakfast included. A bakery is available right across from the hotel. The room was very clean and tidy. I bit on the small side. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all the requests that we had. Free parking was available in front of the hotel. There is a bus that goes straight downtown just 200 meters from the hotel. Also, a big grocery store right next door.

The bathroom shower stalls were very tiny and often one might struggle to enter due to the tiny doors. The rooms also were relatively smaller than I expected.

The people managing the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel also has an affiliation with a bakery nearby and offered a discount on all the food there. The bakery was amazing.

There are no reception amenities, except for a few travel brochures on a table in the small lobby. We got our key from a lockbox outside the front door. The hotel is a small two-story building in an area of office buildings and light industrial warehouses on the outskirts of Reykjavik. There are no food options (or anything else of interest to tourists) within walking distance. There is nothing wrong with any of this, just letting people to know what to expect.

This is a good budget option for a family of four that has a car and needs to crash for a night on the way to or from the airport. The room was clean and featured one queen bed and two single beds. The bathroom was fairly large and included all the necessary linens. There was enough room for storage of luggage for four people.

Close to major sights, easy check in, big bathroom, nice bed linen and towels, great shower, room very clean and comfortable, super quiet, walking distance to several good restaurants, hosts very responsive. Appreciate the hosts having negotiated discounts with various businesses.

This is a good location if you are heading out to Keflavik for a flight in the morning. It is away from downtown so perhaps not ideal if you plan on nearby sightseeing. There is ample parking and a secure location. We had an outstanding meal at a restaurant in walking distance and drinks at another nearby place.

The bathroom is a bit small, with limited space to put your belongings. My bedding was slightly torn, it would be nicer to have newer ones. The hotel is far from the city center, so you’ll need a car.

The room is big enough for a one- or two-night stay. It was clean and had everything you might need. Wi-Fi works well. There’s a supermarket right next to the hotel.

I knew there wouldn't be on-site breakfast, which I usually prefer. However, a nearby bakery has good options. Very small insignificant imperfect details such as no soap for the shower (probably just an oversight) and room temperature we couldn't adjust.

The owners were AMAZING!! They made sure we were comfortable, helped us plan bus routes to see and return from the city, ensured a timely and decently priced taxi ride to the airport, and even personally walked us over to a nearby bistro to ensure good service. (And the Skalli Bistro was equally excellent.) Although it's located away from the city proper, the buses are easy and fast to use, and staying at the Heidmark actually meant a quiet place to return to.

The curtains could be a little longer. Summer in Iceland is very sunny and our toddlers woke up early due to the light coming in.

The couple that runs it is very sweet and they were super helpful directing us to places to eat.
