Absolutely beautiful location on the water with a front-and-center view of Kirkufell. The horses on the property greet you like they’ve been waiting for you to come home all day! Very spacious for our family of five adults (3 adult kids all had their own room). We stayed in the summer but we will absolutely be back in the fall or winter because this place would be a northern lights theater if here at the right time! Can’t say enough about how perfect this accommodation is. Thank you for having us, Eva, and hope you had a great vacation as well!

The views were stunning, the rooms were comfortable, the house was spacious. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in terms of utensils/cooking tools, and there were a few ingredients/food items possibly from past visitors that helped with cooking. Even a whole spice drawer! Overall this was one of my favorite places we stayed on our trip.

The location of the house was right in front of Kirkjufell. We woke up every morning to an amazing view of the mountain and fell asleep to the sights of the northern lights. What an amazing stay. Eva and Kolla the hosts were very responsive and equipped their house in the most considerate manner.

The twin beds were not as comfortable as the other beds.

Location was great. Lots of things included in the kitchen. Hosts were super easy to communicate with and made everything easy for us. We would highly recommend!

Nothing ..this was absolutely perfect.

The location of the house is exceptional. Beautiful surroundings and sights with a view from the house. All of the beds and bedding, couches and dining were very comfortable. We could not have asked for more. Close to restaurants and market.

The shower water was only warm not hot. It would have been very handy if we could access the washing machine and dryer.

The location was superb! Directly across from Kirkjufell Mountain! We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights over the mountain as well! 😍

honestly nothing about the house, 3 of us got sick and needed to chill and just rest and the rain/ wind storm prevented the rest of us from sightseeing on the peninsula except for the waterfalls next to Kirkifell, we did get exceptionally wet, but in Iceland you never know what to expect. All and all it was a lovely stay, I do wish we were able to enjoy the scenery a little more but we will have to save that for the next trip. Wish we had a dryer to dry clothes from all the rain, it would have been nice to warm up.

The house had the most gorgeous views, I fell asleep looking at Kirkifell every night. the horses next door were beautiful. at one point the wind blew the door open, I think someone in my group didn't shut it all the way, but the door blew open and there standing right across were the three horses staring in at us....The house does show wear and tear mostly on the outside, but I believe it's from being on the water. There was a terrible wind/ rainstorm and it was sweet of the owner who called us the next morning to make sure we were ok and that the house was still standing lol....she was a lovely host

Bathroom shower on the small side and a bit pricey (one of our priciest stays in Iceland) though all of Iceland is expensive!

Loved our stay here! Beautiful home with amazing views of the mountain - loved having breakfast and coffee in the dining room - good location to explore other areas.
