The lack of amenities: the plates, cutlery, towels, etc are limited in number. We ran out of them after one meal. The lack of simple culinary devices like strainer, grater, etc made cooking a bit challenging.

Last tenants left food and Informed property, but they were still there a day later. Would’ve been nice to have a person to talk to about places to go and where certain stops were, but the button thing was also kind of cool.

Smell of fried food, the lobby needs some care, all of the room doors and floor fire doors slam loudly and could use some softening so the banging is reduced when people are going in and out. The room could use a microwave.

The room was amazing. Don’t let the lobby throw you off….it could use some sprucing. Room 310 was perfect. Unfortunately there is a restaurant in the building that makes the hallways smell like French fries all of the time, and whoever was above me seemed to be doing laps around the room constantly until after midnight for the first 4 nights…..or maybe they were playing basketball????

The room had no cleaning service for the 8 nights we stayed. This is something that was not mentioned in the booking site. There was no equipment if you wanted to do it by yourself (a mop and a bucket maybe). On the phone they said that we should pay an extra cost if we wanted cleaning, towels or change our bed sheets. After our complaints they said that they would change our towels once. Unfortunately as we were busy all day ( work and vacation) we never reminded them to change the towels, and they never did it by themselves. There was no wardrobe , just a rack with 2 hangers. Also the booking description referred to toiletries and paper rolls. But in the bathroom there was only a big, almost empty, bottle of shampoo/shower gel and a soap dispenser for the hands. No conditioner, no body lotion, no cotton buds ,no shower cap or toothpaste. So "toiletries" was an empty bottle. Regarding paper roll, there were 2 rolls. When we spoke on the phone to complain about toiletries they also informed us that these rolls were provided for 8 nights! 2 person, 8 nights , 2 rolls!! After our complains they gave us 2 more rolls! Generally, I find it ridiculous to beg for toilet paper.

The room was modern, comfortable and very clean. It had a nice view of the square and big windows. Doors with code, no keys and quite secure as the building had entrance and floor doors with code also. It is placed in the center of the city close to shops, seashore and sightseeing.

We booked the apartment because it had a kitchenette. When we arrived we realized the apartment just had a hob. There was no oven or even microwave oven which really limits the options for cooking. Also, only 2 small toilet rolls were left in our apartment for our 6 day stay so we needed to purchase more. There is no cleaning service so the towels left at the beginning of our stay were not replaced and there was no means to clean them.

Location was great. Close to bus stop 9 which is useful for tours or getting the bus to the airport. The apartment was clean and modern. The keyless entry worked perfectly.

There is no front desk, no room cleaning, no additional toiletries, got a dirty pillow. Parking is not included. Paying for parking every day can get expensive. Rooms are nice and renovated, but the building is old.

The location is great, all walking distance to the downtown area, close to restaurants and stores. The size of the room and bathroom is excellent. The room was clean however, one of the pillows was dirty.. The rooms look nice and renovated but the building is old. There's no free parking, and paying for parking every day/night can get expensive. It looks like this is the norm for downtown Reykjavik.

If you put in a workout room, that would be great. I didn't see laundry facilities but those would be nice as well. But that doesn't distract from what a nice experience this room was to book and utilize.

It was very clean and you can not beat the location in Reykjavik. Central to a lot of places.

Excellent location, super clean room, great amenities!!! There are several restaurants to choose from and grocery shopping if you wish to cook. The kitchen is fully supplied with all you need. It's definitely highly recommended. Felt very safe as there are three locked doors before reaching room, and there is a police office building across the street.

We booked an apartment with city view and balcony and the pictures for that property showed an oven, but ours only had a 2 ring hob. Cooking facilities were limited e.g. there was no sieve.

Clean, modern property in a convenient location. The bed was comfortable, the TV a good size and it had a view of the cathedral.

The sofabed was very uncomfortable though. Thankfully we had an airbed with us and put that underneath. And there weren't enough sheets and towels for 4. But that was solved the next day.

It's a nice studio. Very clean! New, nicely furnished. House is also clean. No mold, nor weird smells and thankfully also no chemical room sprays/parfums or parfumed sticks that always smell too much. It's in the inner city. Parking in nearby parkhouse available, is much cheaper than in the street.

- No receptionist to talk to (although responses by email were fast), no luggage storage besides shared/unsupervised laundry room, no late check out option - No devoted parking - need to find paid parking nearby

- Easy walk from bus stop 11 and 12, a short walk to the main part of the city, supermarket and several restaurants nearby - Property was extremely clean, spacious, had almost everything our family needed (microwave would have been great though) - Comfortable beds and bedding - Other places we stayed in Iceland were too hot - it was great we could turn on/off radiators and open windows to get the temperature just right.
