The beds are very uncomfortable as the springs in the mattress could be felt when laying in it. The material of the duvet covers was also uncomfortable.

The staff is very polite and helpful. The refrigerator is huge so I could keep all of my food cool. The room was spacious and the location of the guesthouse is very central in Höfn.

The room was clean and the shared facilities were perfectly fine for our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made things easy. It’s conveniently close to Netto supermarket, so grabbing essentials was simple. One thing to note: noise carries from the kitchen, so if you have noisy neighbors staying up late, you might hear everything. Overall, a good place for one night while passing through.

The apartment lost all power through the night meaning all our food spoiled.there was no one to tell. Also meant no internet so unable to contact anyone about the issue.

We had a room with two single beds and the room was way too small. It was quite difficult and annoying to get to the bed close to the window and it was generally difficult to move around. While the beds were comfortable, they were also too small. There were two shared bathrooms on our floor. One of them was very modern. Unfortunately, one of the bathrooms was out of toilet paper in the morning and there was no spare TP in the bathroom.

Great location in Höfn with a view of Vestrahorn. Easy no contact check-in. There is a kitchen in the common area with access to free coffee and a refrigerator.

Shared bathrooms could have been cleaner - floors needed sweeping and didn't like that there was only one hand towel for each bathroom that was used for all guests. Check in process was slightly confusing.

The kitchen was very compact (crowded with 2 ppl) and only a bar with 2 bar seats to eat. There were only 2 small bathroom/showers for all the guests. Apparently the main building is bigger and has more, but you have to walk across the parking lot to get there.

It's a bit old guesthouse, so you can tell things are a bit worn down, the kitchen wasn't necessarily the cleanest, the beddings were a bit cheap and the pillows clumpy. Two shared bathrooms can become super busy in the evening and there was quite a line up.

The price for one night was total rip off for what you paid. We’d read some horrible reviews about the place but everything was just fine. The walls were thin but like I said earlier all the guests respected each other and weren’t too noisy. The guesthouse felt more like a hostel and I know that tidiness etc depends so much who is there with you. There was someones hair in the shower and in the sink and that was pretty nasty. The microwave in the kitchen was also pretty nasty and the kitchen wasn’t clean.

Accommodation was ok for one night. But that’s about it, didn’t really want to spend there more time that was needed. The room was good and the kitchen had all the necessities. The renovated bathroom was nice and there was always space in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The other guests respected each other and were quiet etc.

Other guests used bathrooms for hanging their clothes and not as a shared space. Other guests boiling milk and burning food in the kitchen smelled up the whole dining area.
