Breakfast was very good. Location not what u thought but maybe my fault. Gabriella in front of office was exceptional. Did not like paying $35 bc I arrived earlier than 3. That was poor. Elevator was very antiquated.

The breakfast was excellent. It was our first trip to Reykjavik so we were not very familiar with the different areas of the city. As it turned out, the Holt was in a great, quiet neighborhood and very well located to get to most everything we wanted to see. We feel we found a real gem and would definitely recommend to others.

Great and silent location near city center, free parking and decent rooms. Good breakfast.

Quaint hotel 10 minutes from Rainbow Road

I was disappointed that I did not have a refrigerator. Also, there was no restaurant although when I booked this in March on booking.com the description indicated there was a restaurant. Also, initially the bed in my room was very, very uncomfortable and to my delight, although I only asked for a mattress topper they replaced the entire mattress.

The staff at the hotel including Gabriella and Adam were very very nice, as was the bartender, although I cannot remember her name. There was a nice view from the balcony which extends the length of the building. There are a lot of very comfortable seats in the lobby area and a lot of space to sit and visit with family and our friends. There is a grocery store fairly close to the hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk to the rainbow road.

Old, stained and dirty carpet in the room. Soft, uncomfortable bed. Very expensive for what you get, breakfast not included.

Good, quiet location. Nice shower and bathroom. Short walk to the FlyBus station to get to the airport.

This would not lower my score because everything else was great, but being there in July, we would have loved to have blackout curtains, or at least something heavier and thicker.

The hotel is very pleasantly adorned with lots of art works. The location is very conveniently close to everything you need in Reykjavík. The staff is excellent! Front desk, housekeeping, breakfast crew: everyone was polite, kind, and helpful. The free parking is a great bonus. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices.

There is no bar fridge in the room. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed for renovations this summer.

The hotel is well located in the city, only a few minutes walk to Hallgrimskirkja, Skólavörðustígur Rainbow Street, and all the other fun places to visit. Breakfast was simple and good, with enough options to choose from. The bar offered happy hour with a simple menu of snacks and sandwiches.

For the price I would have at least expected a fridge in the room. Also accidentally left a couple of items behind in the room when I left for the tour but was unable to retrieve.

The property is very central and close to the bus terminal, but on a very quiet street. I stayed two nights in transit before and after going on a tour and appreciated that it is walking distance.

The matress too soft, didn't have a minibar.

It is an old fashioned hotel, full of pieces of art, old style library, great ambiance. The room is big, clean, bathtub in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was great.

It was a very unique hotel filled with artwork and charm. The staff was so kind and treated you like a family member. I stored my baggage while I went hiking and even made me breakfast when I was leaving early . I couldn’t recommend this hotel more.
