Promoted spa but charge per person per day and could not get in as itbwas fully booked so no access to hot tub sauna .... lots of back and forth with them about moving to another hotel in a different city and was not fully told that we were not moving until the day before. Hotel room was very warm and noisy with the window open believe the blackout blinds reduced airflow

Many things unusable. Fancy shower without instruction how to turn it on and off. No heater or I just don't know how to turn it on.

The room was smaller than I expected.

The breakfast was delicious and had excellent options. The hotel was very clean, and the room was exactly what I needed for one night before my friends got there. The restaurant was a really good option for lunch, and was able to accommodate all of the different dietary preferences in our group.

Didn’t think it was made clear on the website that the spa facilities are not included in the price. I saw this on another guest review and messaged, to be told it’s about €47.

Very high spec interiors. Comfy bed. Quick check in and out. Very close for the airport. Quiet area.

Our room had a queen sized bed and sleeper sofa in order to accommodate the four of us, with the sleeper sofa out the room was difficult to maneuver with luggage. The air conditioning would not turn on so the room was too warm & stuffy at night.

We had a glitch with the booking (room was unavailable due to overbooking). Some of the staff were officious and unsympathetic, and less than forthcoming with any compensation for the (serious) inconvenience and loss of expectation. Remember, we were on a high after a wonderful trip to this beautiful country and we were confronted with this issue at the end. I would note that when the Manager was engaged the response was superb… empathetic, supportive and very helpful. He even drove us to the airport the next day !!

No A/C. Understandable but when keeping the window open at night the noise below was at times difficult for sleeping.

Location near the Atlantic coast and walking paths was great. Not a lot of traffic so parking was easy.

The Hotel used to have a very early and very nice breakfast, this was very nice if you have to leave early 0400-0600 in the morning. Sadly this time the breakfast was starting at 0500 so we couldnt eat breakfast, we had to leave at 0430.

The Hotel has comfortable beds and is very close to the airport, thats the main reason this hotel gets booked. Its always a last good stop to shower when you have to be at the airport early.

Advertised with a mini bar in room and just an empty fridge. No bottles of water supplied in room. Spa not included in price of stay which not made clear on booking.com overview.

Close to airport and blue lagoon. Close to Viking World and Grindavik. Comfy beds, and nice breakfast. Decor very opulent around hotel. Plenty of parking.

We couldn’t close the door to the balcony. We had jacuzzi in our shared balcony ant it was very dirty. The bathroom also had a hydromassage tube which was not working at the time.

We stayed at the Sarphati room, it was a bit small for a 5 star sweet, but we thought we would be in a normal suite so it was a pleasant surprise. It had everything we needed.
