The host advised us prior to arrival that there was a broken door window pane, but it didn’t bother us. I think the only thing I would advise to take this experience up to the luxury level would be to offer some basics like milk or breakfast pastries/seasoning on arrival. We got to the dome later than expected and the nearest Ob had shut so we were without milk.

This was such a unique experience! The location was remote, quiet and beautiful and easy to spot from the road. The hot tub was tops! The Sonos music light was a great addition with good music!

We had an amazing stay at the dome and would highly recommend. It was really comfortable with great facilities and the jacuzzi was excellent.

Shower did not drain so we got water all over the bathroom. We also had a hard time keeping dirt out of the interior, as there was a large dirt patch right in front of the door, and no mat to wipe our boots off

Location was great- secluded and quiet. Not far from the nearest town for supplies. View was spectacular and space was beautiful

Unbelievable - the best location in Iceland!!!!!! In the middle of stunning nature, feels like on the moon.. spectacular place to be. Amazing dome, designed practically & comfortably with thought of every detail. We loved it so much, we will be back for sure 🤩

Nothing to be honest. There was a bit of water seeping through the dome near the entrance when we arrived and it’s because of the storm with strong winds. After wiping the floor it was resolved… it didn’t bother us at all.

It’s super cozy. You have all the amenities you will need. Enough warming equipment to keep the place warm. Kitchen amenities with dishwasher and microwave are so convenient. Hot tub was amazing! The bbq grill is a plus but mot able to use it due to weather. The property management were very responsive and supportive throughout our stay. Love that it’s isolated but few minutes drive to Selfoss. In spite of the stormy weather during our stay, we were given a window time to see the most beautiful Aurora Borealis display we have seen so far in Iceland. We also got a special Christmas present from the property… a big chocolate Christmas tree with treats inside (see photo)!!! Thank you so much!

Reading the reviews people said it was a little cold during the colder months and it was a little colder after we used up the wood. It was cozy with the wood and would have liked to have a few more pieces to keep it warmer. The bed could also use a mattress topper as it is uncomfortable, especially if you are on the thinner side. Lastly the shower doesn’t quite seal completely and it leaks easily, so you do need to be careful with that.

Great experience, my whole family loved it. The globe has everything you need, plus some. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights while we were there as well!

Amazing accommodation in an incredible setting. Although an expensive nightly rate, this was well worth the money for a unique experience. It was a very cold November night however the various heating options (Log Burner, Electric Heater and Diesel Heater) ensured we didn't get cold. Hot tub is awesome, and ample cooking facilities. A simply awesome spot to have a beautiful chilled evening

Can be tricky to find the entrance at night with the rain, find the red gravel road !

I cannot say enough good about this property. It was our favorite place we stayed on this trip, and I wish we had had the foresight to book a longer stay. We saw amazing views of northern lights with amenities like restaurants and grocery stores down the road. The Globe is immaculate and very cozy. Hosts were very responsive and hospitable. We will definitely be back!

Tha lack of privacy... Its not easy to get to the second bed as it is in the top of bathroom. I was there in May and it was not very cold however, in winter it will be not easy to heat the house.

Its a very different space with very good facilities. The hot tub was amazing. You have good facilities to coock your own meals.

very nice dome, I suggest to families and couples. It is near the national park, several sightseeing places nearby.

No real complaints. The front curtain is definitely needed early in the morning since the sun comes up in that direction and the heat comes right through the window, but that’s no fault of the owners.

It is a very cool and unique looking property in a wide open area with great views all around.
