The bathroom could improve cleaness, there is mold in the shower. I also think there should be a kitchen extractor fan. In the main room the window should be fixed as some water enters when rains. We think is too expensive.

The appartment is quite spacious and well equipted. We parked just in front of the entrance door. The TV is new and you can access to apps like Netflix with you own account. For 4 people is great.

Large, cozy, very clean cottage. Very comfortable, large kitchen and living room, two separate rooms with very comfortable beds. Unique view through the windows, absolute peace. We saw waterfalls in the mountains. We specifically chose to stay here so that we would be close to Vatnajökull National Park and could start exploring it in the morning.

Great place in the middle of nowhere but brilliantly placed for us to of a glacier hike in the morning. Super clean and very comfy beds. Lost 1 point as the kitchen didn’t have an oven, just a two hob stove, and a microwave. Worth knowing in advance incase you bought food to cook in an oven. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable, it had the thickest mattress I’ve ever seen on a sofa bed, so that’s actually excellent. Would recommend this place.

The apartment was of a comfortable size. We loved the beds - it was one of the comfiest throughout our stay in Iceland. Heater and shower were warm enough. The kitchen was well-equipped if you wanna cook. The host was friendly too.

There was a lamp outside what we could not switch off, it distured a bit not nothing major. We only received 4 towels, but we were 5 people. The apartment was quite small, I only recommend for 4 people on a longer run. For 5-6 people its only doable for 1 night.

Outside, in the middle of nowhere! Loved it, we saw the aurora. If you visit in winter, I highly recommend this place, you will most likely catch the norther light, as it is very dark. The host was very fast with response. We had everything what we needed, there are also additional heatings if someone is cold.

If you drive, I'd highly recommend this place. I drove my family around the south coast of Iceland and got home late, but the self check-in is simple and easy. Since it's difficult to get food from restaurants late at night, we decided to cook something simple. The best thing about the property is the cooking utensils provided. It's pretty cold when we were in Iceland, but the property has multiple radiators, which quickly heats up the rooms in a really short time.

The guesthouse location is good. We got everything we need in the premises. It’s amazing that we saw the northern light just in front of the guesthouse.

The facility clearly states no smoking, when we arrived the house smelled like cigarette smoke. We opened the windows so the smell would fade a way at least a little. I find this more of an issue with the previous guests as it is very likely they did not follow the rules.
