The accommodation is very nicely arranged, both outside and inside. The owner provides a simple and clear manual for the technical equipment. Greatly equipped kitchen. Perfectly equipped bathroom with toiletries. Space, cleanliness and comfort.

This was AMAZING! I came across Kerbyggð when I planned my itinerary months ago, but opted for a different house in the end. Due to a last minute change in our travel plan we booked an overnight stay at a two bedroom suite here. My biggest (only) regret of this holiday is not staying here longer! From the finishing of the house to the amenities, the hotel worthy beds and sheets, the views and location, nothing can be faulted. The price per night is in the higher end, also for Iceland, but it's really worth it.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely spot with a fantastic high quality and comfortable finish from top to bottom - everything feels luxurious. Hot tub was amazing ,- watching the Northern Lights from there was an unforgettable experience. I honestly couldn't fault a single thing.

The cottage itself is quite big, with a total of 3 bedrooms it’s perfect for family leisure and or larger groups (pro tip: you can re-arrange the beds to make a bigger bed). The surroundings are stunning, mountains almost everywhere, when it’s rainy and foggy the tops of the mountains fade a bit which makes it feel more cozy. The floor heating is a great way to keep the entire house warm although we did turn it off approx. 3 hours before sleep as it also heats the bedrooms. The location when it comes to restaurants and shops is also quite good, there is a small shop + road restaurant on about 5 minutes away from the cabin although all of this and more is provided in the guest book. All with all we had a great stay and would probably come again if we decide to visit Iceland for a second time. (Ps. There is a former volcano-ish pit 1 minute away, it does cost around 800 ISK but is worth visiting (€5.50 at the time of writing))

Beautiful accommodation, well equipped with gorgeous views. Well placed for easy access for the golden circle. Quiet and we were delighted to see the Northern lights. Clear instructions were given for both finding the property and accessing it late in the evening. It contributed to an unforgettable holiday.

It was wonderfully warm, very clean and had all the extra special touches like candles, extra towels and even hot chocolate and coffee pods, a bar of chocolate and herbs etc for cooking when we arrived . The hot tub did not need hours to heat up, it was just ready to use! There was great WiFi and a folder which detailed everything not just about the property but where to go in the area! I could not recommend this place more.
