All a bit basic for the price but this is Iceland so your money doesn’t go very far.

Location, clean, fridge and kettle. Nice staff.

I cant think of anything I didnt like.

The desk staff couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating. They suggested restaurants, helped us plan a route to see the sights, and stored our luggage before and after our stay. And the location was great!

    Rooms on streetside were noisy.

Great location. We had a rental car which we parked overnight in a garage one block from the hotel. We walked to restaurants, sites and shops.

Breakfast / coffee -- standard at best. Lacking compared to other lodging options. Electrical outlets were challenging to reach - I had to move furniture to access them. Bathroom was small & shower was tight. Couldn't fully open the bathroom door causing the sink location to be awkward.

Great location for downtown / tourist feeling area. Easy to walk to many sites. Hotel was comfortable. Room was a bit tight as was the bathroom -- but comfortable enough. Staff was helpful & responsive. Liked that breakfast was included with room. I found the breakfast to be standard and nothing special. Coffee was just so so.

The only negative was the bed arrangement. We requested a room with two separate beds. There were two twin beds, as expected, but the room was set up with them pushed together and made up as one. We had to move them around and redo the bedcovers. That wasn't a problem, but we checked in late evening and may have disturbed other guests

They allowed luggage to be dropped and stored ahead of checkin, so we were able to sightsee unencumbered. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. They provided directions, recommendations, and even arranged FlyBus transportation to the airport. There were also good choices of things to eat for breakfast.

Small bathroom with a shower with shower curtain. Room was a bit too hot and we couldn’t adjust temperature.

Good location. 24 hour check in. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Clean room with comfortable beds. We arrived at KEF airport after midnight, airport bus could take us to right in front of the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at Center Hotels Klopp. It was in a great location, within walking distance to all of the main attractions around Reykjavik. We had free breakfast every morning which was very tasty, and perfect for before we went off on our daily excursions. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and provided us with a small breakfast box in preparation for our early morning departure on our last day. There were also plenty of bus stops around, so we never had to walk far when being picked up for our day trips around Iceland. Although the rooms did not have heating, we were never cold, and the rooms were nice and cosy.

the street is noisy especially in nice weather on weekend when everyone is outside

Location in dead centre of town. I had to leave at 03,30 but they had put out coffee and croissants for me! They kindly moved me to a smaller room but one away from the noisy street

No complaints or whines from here.

The hotel management met us at the door - we were hours too early. But he came out and carried our stuffed and weighty luggage into the lobby for us. He gave us the rundown of the city, not knowing this wasn’t our first in Reykjavik. Then. He let us into our room - early. The room was seriously comfortable and spacey. The room looked out over the Irish Pub and yet, we never heard a sound all night. Breakfast was continental style, but the food choices were healthy Icelandic breakfast fare (not mass produced and out of a plastic bag). On departure day we need out before ‘we’ needed out. The hotel had a room for storage luggage and we we able to enjoy the couple of hours in Reykjavik not babysitting our bags.

We had a problem with a smell from our toilet that was not resolved. They tried to fix it and made it a little better, but not perfect. We were on the side of the building next to a bar which was a little noisy at night.

The location was great, we could walk out the door and explore the city. The breakfast was delicious with meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, hot oatmeal, and especially the homemade granola bars. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a nice size.

The breakfast is the same every day but this is no problem for a couple of days. The options are tasty :-)

The hotel is centrally located in close proximity to bus stops for all tours, bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, good quality breakfast. Croissants and coffee/tea are provided at request and free of charge, if you leave before breakfast hours (7:00-10:00 am). Room cleaning at request (can be done even every day).
