The location was wonderful! At first a little concerned because it was out in the middle of nowhere, but that was the best part of it! The apartment was beautifully decorated and very spacious. It had a nice kitchen area and all the amenities. We were lucky enough to catch the sunset.

We are unfamiliar with the induction stove tops used in Iceland, and needed to google instructions on how to get it to work. So instructions would have been helpful, but we were able to google it and figure it out, but that is such a small thing.

We were looking for a place with a kitchenette, quiet, and located on the south coast. We had been on a cruise and it was nice to just be by ourselves in the peace and quiet of that location. Watching the birds, the grass sway, and the scenery made it hard to go out for the day.

We stayed in multiple different accommodations during our 10-day trip to Iceland and this was one of our favorites. Driving up it looks like you’re pulling up to a farmhouse surrounded by green meadows and a view of the glacier. Inside, we had an absolutely lovely 2-bedroom apartment (for a family of four) with all the amenities you might need. Jon and Edda were always quick to communicate and left great instructions for accessing and checking out of the apartment. The location was just what we were looking for: a short drive to Landeyjahöfn for an early morning ferry to the Westman Islands with easy access to Vik for the following day. We only had two nights here, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. We would 100% stay again.

Property was very quiet in a gorgeous location with a great view! Place was very modern, spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and keys easy to pick up. Bathroom was very nice and we appreciated the coffee! We really loved the stay very much!

There is just one minus point but one that is very relevant - you hear every step from the people above you. One Night our neibours got up 4am so we did. A 10 apart from that.

There is nothing we disliked at all.

There are four apartments, 2 up and two ground level. We stayed in the upstairs one with three beds. It was well-equipped, clean, roomy, and comfortable. Check in was easy, as was communication with the owners.

Initially it felt a little bit anonymous but we are sure it was due to the early season with few guests. We missed a small dustpan since we were staying longer and things happen ;) but both are very minor comments, it's pretty perfect overall.

Ideal location to explore South Iceland, very comfortable and well designed appartment including a dish washer and small but cozy armchairs. Great views to Westman Islands (south, small window) and Eyjafjallajökull (north, larger window). We stayed for a week and very much enjoyed the small refresh service (towels etc.) in the middle.

The apartmen is in nice location and the bed was awesome!! Look of apartmen is really nice to - just be aware there is sadly no microwave but no problem overall it was nice!! :)
