Location was perfect for downtown and the bus terminal. Layout of the apartment was great. Very clean, inviting and comfortable.

Parking was horrible. If you don't park your vehicle prior to 5 pm, good luck. Thankfully there was a hospital at the end of the street, and they didn't tow the vehicle.

The washer/dryer was an issue. Unless you put the setting on for a 30 minute wash it took up to 6 hours to wash and semi dry! It never really did completely dry your clothes.

The apartment is very central, only 5 min walk to the church and very close to a supermarket on the main shopping street in Reykjavík. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well designed with high spec kitchen white goods and all the equipment needed to self cater (which we did a lot as eating out was so expensive!) The code made entry and exit very easy. Access to different tv channels was also great. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm in the apartment. Communication with the owners was excellent.

We thought the sofa could perhaps be a bit more comfortable. The lounge was a little awkward when seating four people. Another shelf in the oven would have been useful.

My only issue was the guy living underneath smoked outside and played loud music until late at night

The neighborhood could not have been better! We walked every where! Always felt safe and secure! Parking was on the street and always close. Beds were extremely comfortable.

This is a wonderful, clean apartment with great proximity to downtown.

Though the apartment was compact, it never felt small. It was still spacious. The location was perfect and just a 5-7 minute walk from the BSI terminal and about 10 minutes from town. We also had a bus stop just a few minutes away, however, we walked to most places including towards the harbour etc. As for the apartment itself, it was fully equipped in every aspect. The kitchen had everything, as did the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and living area had enough seating for the long days out to come back and lounge in. Our host, Jonas answered any and all queries in reasonable time and afforded us a stress-free experience. It really was the perfect combination of location and quality. Highly recommend that future travellers consider this place for their stay.

Airflow could improve with a fan

Perfect as always! We love this location and owner is fabulous! Easy parking, close to everything, very comfortable apartment. Extra bathroom is super nice to have!

That it was equipped with everything you would need. Next to the BSI bus terminal which is easy for tor pickups. 10 mins walk to the main street. Jonas ensured that the cupboard was stocked with detergents/ herbs/ spices/ towels and bath amenities. He thought of everything. I would highly recommend for families.

It's away from the restaurants and bars of Reykjavik as this is an apartment in a residential area. So if you want quiet, yes but if you want to be in the centre and bar hopping and restaurant eating then it is not convenient. What I did not like was that bookings.com did not charge my card but the owner called me to tell me we could charge the transaction over the phone. That's dangerous when a stranger calls you up and says can I charge your card for the booking. We eventually arranged for him to come to the apartment in the evening but am inconvenienced as I had to eish back to ensure he could come and I charged my card.

The beds and bedding were comfortable and kept us warm and cozy as the weather began to turn colder. The place had everything that we needed as a base from which to explore Iceland. The hosts were informative and friendly. Definitely take their advice on where to dine and experience the geothermal pools. The food was amazing and the pool experience much more low-key than more popular (and overly expensive) places.

The apartment was very clean and had great facilities included. Great central location 8 minutes from the bus station and 10 minutes into the main town center.

It's hard to find anything not to like other than the parking included is on street parking, it does get difficult to park once most people come home from work.

The apartment was spacious, bright, very clean, and modern. Great location near the main transport route and just a few steps from the city center. Perfect amenities. Easy and free parking. The only thing to get used to is that the apartment is more or less on the ground floor, and the windows are large. So, you need to be aware that if you open the vertical blinds, the apartment might be visible from the street. I can recommend the stay.

Fantastic apartment in a quiet neighborhood! The beds are big and comfortable. In walking distance to downtown Reykjavik and Hallgrimskirka (Church Tower). Supermarkets in walking distance and believe me, those supermarket sandwiches are good! The apartment has everything you need (towels and linen provided). There is a stove, microwave, dishwasher, laundry, and nespresso machine. Truely a home away from home

There is nothing my family didn't like. Would stay again and again and again.
