Cozy and quiet place. All guests are required to take off the shoes, so it's really clean and feels as home. Designed with a lot of nice small details. Only 1h drive from/to Hafnarholmi (famous puffin observation point).

This is a new building maybe 10klms off the main road in a very peaceful farmland setting. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast was great, beds were good too.

Very modern and cozy Guesthouse, we had a room with three beds and a private bathroom. The house is in the highlands, green, quiet and beautiful. There were sheep around the house and birds in the trees. We bought bread and cheese and a few other things (at Bonus) because we already knew that there is no restaurant near the Guesthouse. And we arrived at a national holiday and a few restaurants in the town nearby were closed. A very nice and friendly Lady from Portugal and an other very nice young Lady welcomed us in the morning at the breakfast. I saw that some people wrote that the breakfast is poor, but I can’t agree with that. We had croissants, Toast and bread rolls, eggs, cheese and vegetables, cereals and yogurt, jam and Nutella, cinnamon buns and more. We had wonderful weather not to cold. I absolutely recommend staying here when you are in the area.

The location was perfect, completely immersed in nature. The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and cozy. There was a common area with all the facilities such as a microwave and kettle that allowed us to prepare a quick meal.

Very idillic place. It was so nice to enjoy the evening on the small shared terrace and listen to all the wild birds around. Incredible how many different sounds there were! The room was also very comfortable. Decent cold breakfast as well.

There's no restaurant very near and no guestkitchen. Also watch the street instruction from the hotel carfully, we took the wrong road and had to get towed...

We loved our stay in this Guesthouse a lot. We stayed only one night but would love to stay longer. The area is very quiet and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view (we were lucky to watch the best Aurora from our bed 😀).The breakfast was delicious with a good coffee as well. We really recommend to stay here.

I was e mailed to ask what time we would like breakfast and stipulated 7.30. All information on the communication states breakfast starts at 7.30. We noticed on a chalk board the following morning breakfast didn’t start until 8am and were told that 7.30 is only in high season. All information should therefore state this. This did not suit our schedule as we had a lot to visit that day. There was someone in the kitchen at 7.30 so we grabbed a rushed breakfast before it was all put out to enable us to leave on time. Please update correct breakfast information.

Parking could be an issue if last to arrive. Better signage at guesthouse for parking. Otherwise everything else was wonderful

We loved this property. Best one on our vacation!! The room was lovely, bed comfortable and very clean. Guesthouse is with 7 rooms and very quaint, like a home, remove shoes and leave in the mudroom. It was very quiet we never hear anything and were by the mudroom(entrance). We had a private bath in our room! Coffee, tea and hot water available in eating area. No restaurant near but we knew this ahead of time and brought a light supper with us and ate it there. A full Continental Breakfast was good which was replenished when needed, by the very friendly staff, so there was plenty to eat. It is located in the country, beautiful drive lovely mountains (good gravel road)(take 925 turn off near 917)with a couple of places of interest to see. Stop at the walking bridge to see the lovely canyon and further on way to guesthouse see Gerissradakirka a replica Viking turf Church- amazing. Loved this guesthouse!! We definitely will stay again on our next vacation in Iceland. Thanks so much!

You have to keep in mind that the road leading to the house is only gravel and in so-so condition

Everything was awesome! The house is super modern with new furniture and a big bathroom. The breakfast provided was plenty and had a good selection. The staff is super friendly and they help you with anything.

I didn’t read the check in instructions and went down the treacherous road that was recommended not to go on. The property is in the middle of nowhere and we were concerned our little manual 2x4 wouldn’t make it. This should be more visible ahead of booking the room. Finding the front door was confusing - I thought we were at the wrong location for a bit.

Nice new property. Breakfast was simple, free and decent. Great location for northern lights. We did the ring road and stayed in many guesthouses and hotels. This one was ok.

The breakfast didn't have great variety. You have to travel a few kms down a gravel road to get there which might be an issue depending on your car.
