Excellent choice considering location - host was polite, rooms very clean (to be honest, one of the cleanest places I have been), well equipped kithecn and spacious bedroom for 4 people. Breakfast was simple, but fulfilling. Would defenitely recommend to spend your night or two there while heading to East Iceland.

Your hospitality made the experience even more special. You were so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast you provided was delicious and much appreciated. I especially enjoyed walking around the property and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Sitting in the red chair and snapping a photo there was a highlight—it’s such a charming touch! I would absolutely love to stay again in the future. Thank you again for making our visit so memorable!

The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. If you're planning to visit the Stokksnes Peninsula, this place is perfect. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the bedroom was comfortable. There was nothing missing. The host was very nice and prepared a tasty breakfast.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The accommodation is located in a peaceful area surrounded by stunning nature. The apartment is equipped down to the last detail. Everything you might need is there, and it all feels thoughtfully prepared. The surroundings are truly beautiful, with quiet sunsets in the evening. And the breakfast? Just amazing, fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility, fresh air, and natural beauty.

Amazing view and a lovely apartment

The scented oils were very strong. Moved ours outside for the stay.

We had such a fantastic experience staying here! The location was perfect, with a beautiful view. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed plus bed was super comfy. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, he made very delicious breakfast for us which made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely come back again!

The apartment was beautiful and in absolutely pristine condition; it left nothing to be desired. The location was picturesque and the breakfast was the most exquisite and lovingly prepared we’ve had in Iceland.

We loved this place so much that we are thinking of coming back to Iceland just to come back here. Everything is absolute perfect. You will feel like you are at home, a very comfortable and clean home with a stunning view. And breakfast is just the cherry on the cake. Amazing amazing amazing!!!

Comfortable clean apartment with beautiful views! Very quiet and great night’s sleep. Ragnar was helpful with great communication. Very convenient to Vestrahorn.

It is a big and comfortable space . They also offered us to wash and dry clothes. Besides, the breakfast was good.

Amazing new room with even full size kitchen. Great shower. Tastefully decorated. Very friendly host! The surroundings are beautiful with sea view, Mountain View, sheeps and the red chair built by the owner. Great breakfast as well!

None. It’s perfect!

This property was perfect for our family of 4. The guesthouse was very clean and every detail was perfect, from the comfortable beds, to the furnishings, to the kitchen having everything we needed to cook dinner. We enjoyed walking around the property, taking pictures on the red chair and walking to the Skutafoss waterfall. The breakfast in the morning was great too! We loved our stay at Lon Guesthouse.

Beautifully furnished, wide green spaces outside. Apartment was clean, well furnished, big with separate rooms for bathroom, bedroom, Living room, ample kitchen space with sink, induction stove and cooking utensils. Breakfast was also wonderful! Cheese, selection of fruit, teas, bread and spread, boiled eggs. Colour pencils and sketch pad was in the room for you to draw :)
