We had lots of space for a group of 5, and the hot tub was exceptionally fun to relax in.

Nothing, we loved everything about the space. We didn’t realize when we first arrived that the flat is two separate buildings connected by a breezeway outside. Once we realized, the place was definitely perfect for our group.

Very big house with plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out! And the hot tub was absolutely perfect!

Lundur is a piece of heaven on Earth. The house is fully furnished and accommodated our group of 10 perfectly. The hot bathtub on the patio has our hearts. Thank you for having us!

Great location, 15 minutes away from Borganes . The house is perfect, it has everything you need for the perfect stay. The kitchen allows you to cook with ease, with the addition of the outside covered barbecue for cooking steaks/ lamb etc without setting off any fire alarms. All the essentials salt, pepper, spices, coffee, kitchen roll , sugar, etc etc were provided, with toilet roll, conditioner, shampoo, hand wash , body wash, etc which was a lovely surprise! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the whole house is decorated to a high standard. The hot tub is a jet spa which we used daily after a long day out. It’s perfect. Having a cabin with bedroom and separate shower /wc means it’s also perfect for larger groups, as we were a party of 2 we had plenty of room. The house has great facilities for washing/ drying and has a large TV if you feel compelled on stormy nights to watch a bit of television. The icing on the cake is the location for northern lights, having a great 360 view without interruption means you’ve got the best chances. Out of 12 nights we luckily managed to see 10 nights/ mornings despite some very challenging weather in November. We didn’t need to drive out, we just happily sat wrapped up under the covered deck and waited for Aurora to appear. There is a main deck which has a sheltered covered area which is perfect, then a lower deck for the cabin, a base deck in the garden and to the side a grass garden area. Very nice garden furniture and a picnic table for warmer days! The road to the house is a little pitted in winter but nothing crazy just drive carefully. We tend to have 4X4 or AWD car in November as the roads to tend to wear in winter. The location is perfect for driving up the west coast and north. The host was lovely and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay at Lundur again and the other properties on the portfolio.

Nothing it was great. The smallest thing for us was lack of clothing space as we were staying for 12 days, (19 in Iceland) and didn’t pack light. A little space for clothing would be beneficial.

Property was clean and well stocked. Beds were super comfortable and the owners were really responsive and even allowed us to check in early after a long trip.

The gate to the property was a struggle to figure out …especially after being awake for 30 hours. Ended up googling how to dial Iceland from the US and figured out the right number combination. Otherwise, it was perfect for our group!

The house was super cute and cozy. The bedrooms allowed our family of 4 to comfortably spread out for a few days. Easy 10 minute drive to and from Borgarnes for groceries/ restaurants.

Fantastic location and set up - home from home. We had 4 kids and 4 adults - plenty of space 😊

A little more storage would be helpful in the bedrooms.

It was nice and modern, the guesthouse was great, it was very private, the hot tub was great.

The road was a bit rough leading to the property.

This cabin was exceptional! So clean and the most comfortable and cozy rooms and beds. We will be back to this cabin when we stay in the area again. We had the best nights sleep of the trip. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of travel. Amazing place! Also the owners left the best manual on how to operate the kitchen appliances and hot tub, it was so helpful and thoughtful. Thanks again!

There really wasn't anything we didn't like!

Location was fine for us as we were studying birds on S side of Snæfellsness and in Myar. We never got time to use the hot tub! We did wonder why it is constant at 40c, especially as the lid is damaged and insulation probably full of water so cannot insulate much - maybe it is natural hot water?

We only missed having somewhere to put soap and shampoo in the shower instead of on the floor. Easy to fix, but lacking in many Air BNB. Also the annexx could have a curtain over the window in the door to block out the light at night. Not complaining - just a couple of tips.

We like the hot tab within the house. And the rooms are very significant clean and fully equipped.

All is great.
