The property was very cosy, well equipped, clean and had an amazingly beautiful view. We stayed in the blue house and we, me and my two friends loved it. The host is very responsive and catered to our requests.

The view was amazing. It was quite enjoyable to sit outside and just look at the view. The cottages were cute and though small had just what we needed for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable.

Although Haimaey Island isn't huge, staying just outside of Vestmannaeyjar was a great way to get close to nature, but still be close to all the cool things the Westman Islands offers.  Our volcano and puffin ATV tour cruised right by Ofanleiti where we stayed in the Hvassaleiti Cottage. The island is known for its breathtaking seaside views, a top 100 golf course, elephant rock, a famous 1973 volcanic eruption....and the incredible cliff-dwelling puffins. Between where we stayed, ate and explored, we covered a lot of ground and coming back to some midnight twilight ambiance really capped our first full day in Iceland. Efficiently designed with a simple space (which is really nice when you're on the go or heading out to your next adventure quickly; sometimes too much space makes it hard to get out because you feel like you're forgetting something) the cottages offered stunning views and an opportunity to recharge at a very reasonable price. Convenient check-in, helpful info up front, and easy to contact and communicate with. We loved our stay!

We are a family of three and we found the property perfect for our needs. We liked the location being a little out of town, but close enough to town to walk, which we did one evening. It was quiet and had great views. The kitchen had plenty of supplies to make a meal. Small, simple, clean - perfect for us.

Amazing location with view of the cliffs and sweet horses in the pasture. It’s a tiny house but we found it very comfortable for a short stay with 2 adults and would definitely love to stay here again. The owner was lovely and super responsive- kindly brought us extra pillows and replaced a broken chair. Really appreciated the pod coffee maker. Definitely seems like the ideal place to stay on the island.

Everything perfect! For people not bringing the car to the island and dont like walking too much it might be a too long walk (ca 3km). However we walked to town for dinner and back again and it was fine - just a nice walk :)

Super little cottage. It is amazing how much you can squeeze into a small space. Amazing views and we parked the car and walked into town (half an hour), and to the puffin look out (2 hr hike). Host had provided coffee sachets, sugar and some biscuits. Takk!

The door was a bit loud while opening/closing, needs some grease/oil, but it was not an issue at all

Dark blue cottage with one bedroom. Good location with views. Very comfortable double bed. Single bed above double so Bunk bed. Small but practical -well equipped.

Amazing little cabin, very comfortable bed with a wonderful view of Elephant Rock. It's a small cabin but everything is very well organized and the hosts are kind and reactive. The only thing is that there is quite a bit of light coming from the building behind at night. But we still saw the Northern Lights and had a very magical stay. Will definitely return if ever back on the island !
