Fantastic location. Perfect for the docks or the city. Excellent facilities. Nice shower room and kitchen.

It’s a basement apartment so there was some evidence of dampness just above floor level although this didn’t affect us.

I stayed at the apartment for a week with my two kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as it is indeed perfectly located. City hall is a two minute walk, from there we were able to get our tour buses for two day south coast and day trip to golden circle easily. Some of the best restaurants are in the walking distance as well. We were also easily able to walk to flyover Iceland and Lava show. There is a covenient store close by from where we could pick up bakery items and toiletteries. I wanted a place with a kitchen or kichenette and this apartment was perfect to warm up hot water in kettle or fix a quick breakfast using the cook top. The rooms are exactly as you see in photos. I liked the bathroom with washer/dryer and towel dryer as we did come back with damp outerwear after our tours. I was able to wash and dry most of our clothes before our travel back and that was super convenient to have on the property. It seems newly renovated with modern amenities so some of the older comments on toilet seat etc are not valid anymore. Also the door was fine to open, I did ask in advance if there was any special trick to it. And the communication throughout my stay was very prompt. You've to punch the key in and immediately move the handle to open with a little force. In time staying in Iceland, Viking power will help with it. I did not have any trouble with it. Also the highlight was the piano in the living room, my son plays the piano, he enjoyed and entertained us with it alot. I truly appreciate the tips on bakery, restaurants and prompt communication by the host.

My only challenge was the television. It didnt work, and with young children it was hard for them to not have any screen time. But we made do with puzzles, games at the property and used my phone at times. I did change remote batteries and the service did come in to check, but was told later the remote needed replacement. So you may want to check if the tv is working before your stay is my additional tip.

Good Location

We have to clear the trash. Worst part we need to get our own plastic as only one each for recycle and waste was provided. Tv is a prop. Doest not work. When contacted , staff advice us to get new batreries for the remote. We stiill new to get some live news even if we are on vacation. Unless icland does not aired live news.

Location and size of the apartment were good

While the location might suit those without a vehicle, I experienced several issues. The initial parking information was inaccurate, and contacting the overseas call center for assistance was difficult. The apartment showed water damage, and nighttime traffic noise was disruptive. The parking situation differed from the listing, with the closest options costing $45 or more per day. Additionally, the dishwasher was full upon arrival, no toiletries were provided, and someone entered the apartment unannounced to clean during my stay. Overall, my stay was unpleasant due to these issues and a lack of responsive service. I won't stay there again as I'm sure there are many other places without these issues.

The apartment's central location made exploring the city a breeze. Its lovely decor created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful furnishings added a touch of elegance to the space. Every detail seemed thoughtfully chosen and placed. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this accommodation. We felt at home.

The location and facilities were excellent.

Car parking costs. It cost us, on average £50 a day on parking charges. That was £150 for just 3 days, bear this in mind

Good location.. few meters walk to the church.. around everything really.. the harbour, resto.. spacious and clean..

Struggles first on how to lock the door from outside.. but we managed to figure it out!!

Apartment was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable (could sleep 6 comfortably, we were only 3 so had loads of space). Shower was amazing, Spacious kitchen, everything you could need for your stay. Location was fabulous, Downtown Reykjavik was in walking distance. Easy access to main road for sightseeing. Not sure we could have stayed in a better apartment. Thanks

Nothing.... Just to note that there are steps down into the apartment but there is a railing so that was helpful for my mother who has some age related mobility issues. There are also steps up to and into the back bedroom, so not suitable for my mother, but plenty of options in the rest of the apartment so it was not a problem. Parking was available outside the door but only for limited periods and also up the street, We used the parking app so that was very convenient.

Loved the location! Loved the roominess! Loved the amenities! I needed to do a quick repair on my jacket and found a mini sewing kit!! Would absolutely stay again and recommend it!!

The front door was a bit tricky, and even though we didn't watch much tv, the channel selection was poor. But honestly, we didn't go to Iceland to watch tv.

The appartment was extremely well equipped with lots of nice little touches

It was almost impossibile to open the front door using the keypad. Once we were inside the lock jammed and we had to use a knife to move the tumblers so we could get out again. Once we were inside and had the key, it was much easier to open and close the front door, but when you first arrive, you have to use the keypad which doesn't open the door properly. The property needs some maintenance, for example, the toilet runs continuously and the bathroom and kitchen windows need replacing.

Place was wonderful. Spacious, clean, adequate. Would stay here again.

Didn’t expect to take out trash with this size/price of the apartment. The front door was tricky to open, I had to call the management company to find out the tip was to pull slighted then push to open…

The parking lot was small, often full. There is other parking not too far. No free parking at property.

Over all awesome,location, so etimes challenge to get parking but always some parking in close proximity.

Just minor flaws, the shower hose at the bottom spraying all directions, we fixed that temporarily with cloth, also some crack in the toilet seat, fxed with bandage. Grate challenge getting garbage in the bins, we never managed to do so because always full and negative attitude of neighbors but all went well.

Location was very central and great. Good size for at least 4 people.

Door entry was a pain - an old 4 digit code entry system. Instructions should be clearer - you need to enter code, pull door towards you and then turn handle. TV options were limited.

Lovely spacious apartment, in a quiet area but close to everything ! The apartment is very well equipped especially the kitchen. We loved the piano in the living room.

getting in the front door with the door code was a little tricky but we were able to call the contact number and resolve it quickly and easily.

The front door needs a little attention as it needs to be slammed to close it.
