I have nothing to complain about, everything was just fine.

We stayed there for a few days and everything was exceptional. The natural surroundings, the farm, the accommodation, the food, the staff, and the fact that everything was built around sustainability truly impressed us. I don’t know when I will return to Iceland, but I can say with all my heart that I would love to come back here. We warmly recommend it to all travelers.

Kitchenette was very basic - two burner electric hotplate, kettle and stovetop coffee maker. No microwave, toaster. Fridge was very small, located next to bathroom, and did not get very cold. While coffee was provided, there were no teabags, sugar or cream. No food basics such as salt and pepper, spices, oil, etc.

Very quiet and private cottage with lots of windows looking onto nature. Loved sitting on the porch and looking out at the farm. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the greenhouse was lovely and delicious. Free parking.

We really missed having a table and 4 chairs. With the availability of a kitchen we were prepared to cook our own food but had nowhere to eat it. We sat on the outdoor picnic tables but in the evening it would have been nice to be indoor. Perhaps this is something that is in the plan but has not been added yet.

The cottage was beautiful. Clearly work in progress (some electric fixings were not connected or missing yet) but really nice.

The kitchenette is not equipped for cooking. I suggest the owners make a trip to IKEA (or similar) and spend 100 euro on some basic things like plates, pans and wine glasses. The communication - also via Booking chat - was poor. Only very late response to questions.

The kitchen was not well equipped to cook a decent meal. The pots and pans were very small which made it very hard to cook. The fridge was also quite small and there was no microwave. The pictures of the property showed that There would be a colander in the kitchen but it was missing. There is a nespresso coffee machine and they gave us more pods when we asked, but tea wasn't provided. It is not what I would have expected considering the high price of this accommodation. There was no dining table and only a very small coffee table which made it hard to eat meals. No TV either. Overall, I expected more for this price, especially in comparison with other places we stayed in during our trip to Iceland around the ring road.

The rooms were new and fresh, it seemed to be newly built. I think the bathroom floors were heated, which was very nice because the bathroom dried a lot quicker. Beds were comfortable and the shower was great.

What a gem of a place to stay. I had the cottage all to myself which included a small kitchenette, eating space, huge bathroom and front porch. I had breakfast and dinner at the reception/restaurant and each time the meal exceeded my expectations. Nearly everything they serve comes from the farm! Conveniently located to Egilsstadir for gas, miscellaneous items, (even a Reindeer Rescue Park!) Hiking trails galore though I didn't have time to explore them. I returned late one day from Studagil and the host was kind enough to make up a dinner plate for me to carry in a basket to my room. Absolutely delightful place to stay and soak in the area.

It was just the minimal counter space, while cooking we had trouble having enough room to do everything we wanted at the same time but it wasn't the biggest deal as we just boiled water in the kettle after we were done using the electric stove-top.

This was our favorite stay while we were in Iceland. When we booked we didn't have many reviews to go off of. When we got there it exceeded our expectations. The staff was accommodating, our room didn't have knives to cut with and our host provided them right away. We had no trouble using anything, everything was clean. We even saw the northern lights from right where we parked the car. I will say the best part was the heated floors in the bathroom! Again I could not say enough amazing things about this place.

We were upgraded to one of the brand new apartments and it was fantastic. The apartment had a spacious kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Everything was new and clean and the room was warm. The hostess was lovely and prepared a delicious dinner out of local products from the farm just for us. The farm is located in a beautiful area by the Lagarfljót lake with lots of trees and amazing nature all around. Bigger town Egilsstadir is only 15min away by car. Nelson the cat was always checking on us:) wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Lovely little place! They upgraded us on arrival to a new suite, so that was great. We weren’t there when the cafe was open though so can’t comment on that. Great location to explore the east.

Beautiful new accommodation in a wooden house. Every little detail is perfectly arranged. Loved walking around the farm and the forest. So quiet and peaceful. Recommend the Vök Baths nearby.

The staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! They even bake the bread there and make the pancakes from barley that they grow. They have the sweetest cat named Nelson, and all the people who are working in the greenhouses clearly love what they do. It was just an amazing, wonderful place and I highly recommend it!

I think that the furnishing and appliances/facilities were beautiful but not practical. You notice things like no outlet near the bed, the cables from the kettle and espresso do not reach the outlets.

Staff was lovely, nice welcome, food made us feel healthy. Very good bathroom, unique design. Hidden gem location, the trails south of the farm are phenomenal.
