This is a wonderful place. Super clean and modern with everything you need to cook your own meals including dishes, pots pans, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, and spices. Just bring your own groceries. Wash machine, dryer, and dishwasher available. The bathroom has heated floors. The view is wonderful with a view of the water and Mount Esja. Parking on-site and free. Only a short distance from the city and the Grotto Lighthouse. I would not hesitate to stay here if I ever come back!

Loved the location being close to the city but also in a quiet area near the ocean. Lots of nice walking paths around. Kitchen was very equipped to make meals and everything was great. Would definitely stay here again.

As someone who can get through a block of cheese pretty quick, the cheese grater provided took a while to grate an ample amount of cheese. I'm sure this wouldn't bother normal people.

The heated bathroom floor was a nice surprise, although now it means the fiance wants one.. the TV was 50-55" which is very nice compared to most accommodation. Internet speed of about 80Mbs both down and up was very adequate. One night we were able to see the northern lights from the bedroom and the walk to the viewing spot was pleasant. We also walked into town most days but there was a bus stop down the road. The lovely view of the sea and mountains from the bedroom window was a nice surprise to wake up to in the morning. The hosts were also very quick at providing us a dark towel when requested (to not get hair dye on the white ones provided when washing hair) The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. They also provided some travel adapters which was a nice touch. If we come back to Iceland, we'd stay here again.

Lovely comfortable apartment in quiet residential part of Reykyavik. Extremely well equipped and easy parking. Can either walk into town - about 35 mins, or take the bus.

Initially we were slightly disappointed that there wasn't a toaster, but without our saying a word, our host, Kjarten, delivered a beautiful new toaster to our door the 1st morning of our stay.

The great location, cleanliness, amazingly comfortable Ikea bed (yes, it was so comfortable and we slept so soundly, we HAD to know why), our kind and thoughtful host, the views, the heated floor in the bathroom, and even the smalll window vents (that we noticed seem to be typical of Icelandic homes) that let in just the right amount of clean, fresh air (so it wasn't really just the bed). I don't think either of us sneezed or felt even a bit congested the entire time we were there (4 nights!).

This property is ideal for anyone wanting to stay near but not in Reykjavik. It’s a 20-30 minute walk into Reykjavik but we had car hire so worked out extremely well. The property is exceptionally clean and very warm. The bathroom even has under floor heating. The property offers excellent views of Reykjavik and the ocean from the bedroom window. The property came equipped with way more than we expected. Toilet paper and kitchen essentials such as oil, salt, tea, coffee and hot chocolate were ready for use. The accommodation even has a guest Netflix account set up so we were able to watch an episode of the series we have been watching whilst we ate and settled down after a busy day of adventures. I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay here again if we return to Reykjavik!

Great location with mountain views. Very quiet residential area and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. We were able to see the northern lights from the front door!

The property is great. Google had a few issues figuring out the road. You turn off the main road onto the road that begins with an F and then take an immediate right onto the road that begins with an L to circle around to the house. The house is just below the top of the hill, which gives it the great view.

If you’ve rented a car, this is a great location. You’re not in the city exactly but two seconds away and it’s a beautiful walk or bike along the coast the lighthouse and it’s Walker close by. There’s a lovely view from the bedroom out to the ocean, all of the appliances are perfect.
