A nice extra touch would be a complimentary roll of paper towel, like all our other lodgings in Iceland provided. Very minor comment but thought I’d pass this along to the very kind host.

Nónhamar was one of our top stays in Iceland (out of 10 lodgings), even if our most expensive. We rented two separate, self-contained units (one for each couple) for two nights. The units are super clean and very spacious with many windows (bright!). There is a kitchen table/chairs to enjoy meals and play games. And the two comfy lounge-type chairs are well-placed in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window…great for reading/relaxing. The location is super quiet and private. The host was very responsive and kind. Parking is right in front of your unit. I highly recommend a stay at Nónhamar.

A great location, beautiful cottage nestled among the sheep pastures with views, clean and very comfortable. Was easy to find, great communication. We ate dinner in after a long 5 hour glacier hike (highly recommend Iceland Mountain Guides). After a beautiful day, we came back to rain and cold and felt cozy and comfy just relaxing in the guest house especially after almost completing the Ring road and many days of go go go! We loved our stay!

The cottage is new, fully furnished. The position is amazing and we also saw the sunset two evenings. Just you enter inside, you would not go out anymore since it is so comfortable. We really appreciated the desk and the chairs for the outdoor where we took a lunch.

The shower head of the bathroom has a lot of mold.. (we cleaned it ourselves)

Nicely setup cabin in a gorgeous location, very convenient right off the Ring Road with an easy drive to Jökulsárlón. Cabin had a small kitchen with stove top that we used to make dinner, and the bathroom was great— shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. I also appreciated the desk in the room (I have to work while traveling, unfortunately). I would definitely stay here again!

Honestly, nothing. We really loved it!

Everything! Peaceful location very close to Skaftafell National Park and Jokulsarlon Lagoon. The space was super well divided with brand new furniture and all one can need, and very clean. The view was really beautiful.

The cottage was cosy yet spacious enough for 3 adults. It was clean and tidy, and well fitted with kitchen utensils. It felt very comfortable to stay here, like a home away from home.

It was more like a studio and the second small bedroom more for an child than an adult.

The kitchen and dishes and untensils. Providing oil was a benefit . It would have been nice to have a few spices or basic condiments. Great response to our questions from the host.

Not a thing! It is important to know you should buy food for dining before getting here because the closest store is 10-15 minutes.

Perfect place to spend a few days in southern Iceland! Super clean, and very comfortable, fast service when we ran low on paper, just the right amount of amenities to cook for a few days since it's remote. Very quiet and remote space and the windows are perfect to see the northern lights! I was even able to watch them from bed. I love that there were coat racks and a vanity in the bathroom to feel more homey. Left this space this morning and already miss it.

The prices were high, but all accommodation is expensive in Iceland.

Amazing chalet with pleasant bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. When the sun shined the views were amazing.

The surrounding area is a barren plain but that is the nature of the general region where the five prefabricated units have been placed. It is expensive even by iceland standards.

The location is perfect for exploring the glacier area. The unit is very new and modern with a spacious main bedroom.

Clean warm and very well organized, nothing missed, properly maintained. Plenty pots and pans, salt pepper.and cooking oil. Beds are very comfortable. The highest pressure of a shower I have ever seen in my life. Quiet and spaced from other cabins enough to give privacy. Although small overall, there is so much space inside.
