Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Beautiful hostel. The beds are clean and comfortable with fantastic privacy blinds. I was in a large dorm but felt like complete privacy at night with the bed blind pulled down. Lickers are a good size. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with a large fridge and a food labeling system that seems to work well. Some stuff gets put on the 'free' shelf so check for basics like salt, pepper and oil before going shopping! The bar / lounge area is lovely, chilled atmosphere with some cosy chairs. The bathrooms are gorgeous with fantastic showers. All staff were nice and helpful. I was on a top bunk, which I like, but the ladders are quite steep so if you have issues with climbing up you may want to request a lower bunk. The main city is a short walk, 5-10 mins. Bus stop 9 for tours and transfers is really close. Bus stops for local buses are really near too. Overall I would highly recommend this hostel.

I have to say the bathrooms were the nicest I have seen at a hostel. The reception lady was very helpful.

United StatesI didn’t like waiting till 3:00 to go to my bed to rest after a red eye and no sleep. A little earlier would have been nice.
The facilities were quite new so are in great condition. Beds are comfy with curtain lights and plugs. The two women who work there, Alexandra and Cat were super helpful and kind. The kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommend.

ArgentinaThis was my first time at a hostel, but it was INCREDIBLE. Very new, great decor, the room was huge, but somehow you didn't even feel there was anyone else there. The lobby/bar was beautiful and great to work from. Would definitely stay here again.

LithuaniaNo breakfast and frankly speaking that is something which could be an added value for purchase, especially if you are having just overnight stay.
I like value for money. Especially if this is just overhaul between flights it is a good alternative to just hanging out in the airport.

CanadaAs is the same is any large hostel, noise from other travellers. I had a person snoring very loudly above and beside me. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!
Modern look, clean, organized and had luggage storage. Location was pretty good. Able to walk everywhere and even walked from the domestic airport to here. Staff was friendly and there were lots of bathrooms/showers available.

United KingdomNothing, we wish we would have stayed longer :)
The bunk beds were really cool and spacious. The curtains offered sufficient privacy and there was a private light and desk inside of the bed. The lockers underneath the bed were spacious and secure. The kitchen was well equiped and the bathrooms looked amazing and were regularly cleaned. The common area was really nice and inviting too with lots of board games and brochures with information about various activities to do around Iceland.

United KingdomCould do with a few more bathrooms.
Such a cozy hostel! I was nervous to stay in a 26-bed dorm, but the thick blind on each bed made it feel private. Fantastic kitchen facilities, saved so much money by cooking rather than eating in town. The room was packed but the guests were quiet, no excess noise or talking at night. Obviously, with so many people arriving and leaving (and always one snorer), earplugs are a must, but that's nobody's fault! Would stay again for sure.
