WiFi did not work at all. Laundry was disappointing since it was in constant use by staff doing sheets and towels.

Good location. Kitchen was convenient, well equipped and not too crowded.

Walls were fairly thin and could hear someone snoring in the next room. Was so tired from all the sightseeing I slept through but might bother a light sleeper. Bring earplugs

Comfortable beds, really nice shared kitchen, friendly host, good location beside a walk to a waterfall and lots of other hiking trails and short walk into the town. Had great dinner in Skaftkell. Use of laundry facilities for free a great bonus

Doors don’t close quietly. One room was adjacent to entry, and got loud banging every time someone entered, but during quiet hours it was mostly quiet.

Location was great, nice quaint town. Room was comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. We rented a room for 4, which was not spacious, but we knew it from the pictures. It was comfortable, and quiet. The common kitchen and "breakfast / dining room" was great, and very well equiped. Thanks to the team !

that I didn't have much time to enjoy the location we got here quite late and left early as our trip the next days had a fair bit of driving powerpoints were difficult to access (especially as I need one at night for medical treatment) and a bit far from the bed. Luckily I had an extension cord with me.

lovely place. location also nice with waterfall outside and water on the other side. kitchen was great (with free coffee!) provided bathrobes (as well as towels) - which was convenient as we were in a room with shared bathrooms

Better if doors could be changed so they don't bang when guests leave them to close. Were quite noisy in the night.

Very well equipped kitchen, probably one of the best we encountered on our trip. Room quite small but adequate for our one night.

As with all places in Iceland in summer months, you will pay a high price versus the equivalent elsewhere, however that’s no fault of the property or country. It is what it is ☺️

Very clean property, and friendly staff. You can help yourself to hot drinks from the machine in the kitchen. Shared areas were all very clean also. We were able to do some laundry there also, which was very handy. Great location right on the water front in pretty Seydisfjordur. Rooms were bright and comfortable.

Black-out curtains didn’t work fully so room was very bright during the night (midnight sun). Mentioned this to owner who said that further curtains will be set up soon. Prices are also a little high compared to other places if you are traveling solo.

Last minute booking was well accomidated and staff were very helpful and willing in trying to assist me with further bookings. Facilities very neat and clean, loved the shared kitchen/dining room where you can store in fridge and cook. Very clean and modern ensuite bathroom.

The guesthouse met our needs and we departed well satisfied.

This was a lovely, well equipped guest house. The host was welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive. We enjoyed the camaraderie in the communal kitchen and the opportunity to interact, in passing with fellow travellers. We also enjoyed the location: the proximity to the waterfall and the lake and the quiet calm of the town.

The location is 5-minutes walk to the city centre. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. This is a HOSTEL/guesthouse. We had a private room with private bathroom. The community kitchen is clean & well equipped if want to cook. Laundry is available and free to use.

Quite easy to hear movements outside the room. Trash bins in rooms are on the small side. Will be ideal to have a sitting stool at the gate for shoes removal and wearing.

Shoes off policy helps kept the guesthouse clean and homy. Even rooms without private toilet has a sink, which made it super convenient in the morning and before bed. Bath robe is also provided. Shower is with duo shower heads, providing the options to take shower with partner. Hand drying towels adds up to the positive experience. Lovely vintage wooden decorations in the guesthouse . Good kitchen facilities. Free to use the washing and drying machines which were surprising. Very friendly host, sharing traffic tips and asking for our travel plan in prep for the icy weather.

Next to front door so heard people cone and go.. not a lot but enough…

It was very convenient. Close to everything. Clean and tidy. Big and clean room and bathroom . Nice to see the ferry.

Nothing special about the rooms or views.

Nice kitchen and eating area with refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher. There is an automatic coffee maker which makes a range of ooffees. There is a washer and dryer available also.

The guesthouse is great and staff is very kind with great service-minded. He gave us the eggs for prepare our dinner , it was snowing that evening and supermarket was closed when we arrived. The weather was not quite good, the staff can response and update information with us promptly.
