The curtains didn't completely close and as it was summer the light came in making it harder to get to sleep. The kitchen and bathroom were small but efficient. A microwave bowl would have been handy in the kitchenette.

The place was gorgeous and the hosts wonderful. The view from our room was spectacular. Safe off street parking.

Lovely little space perfect for 2. View over town to the snowy mountains. Parking right outside your door. Kitchenette has a great range of equipment and the clothes washer is a life-saver when travelling for weeks. Everything neat as a pin and the towel warmer makes life more comfortable in the cooler weather. Deck would be lovely in the sunshine, however I stood on it in the snow to capture aurora instead. Electric candles were a lovely touch for a restful evening light. Hosts were delightful and nothing was too much of a problem. Supermarket a short walk around the corner.

Beautiful mountain view. The owners really cared about our comfort and were very concerned when we had internet issues (which they fixed promptly). They are hardworking ladies and we would recommend this place to others. P.s. we saw the Northern Lights from the terrace.

Everything was great!

It was just INCREDIBLE!! The hosts are really nice and have this cute, very random but unique store and coffee shop on site :) The bedroom is big with a kitchen on side. Everything is clean and the beds were comfy. From the terrace of the hotel you’ve got a view over the sea with a perfect sunset location! Would come back anytime ☺️

Loved that the owner greeted us and told us a little more about the place. There was a lovely restaurant next door for dinner. The apartment is above a charming cafe with a fun gift shop!! We actually stopped there for lunch on our way through to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, so it was wonderful to stay here on the way back.

Unfortunately, there was a gale force wind/storm on our night of arrival. One of the opening windows did not shut due to a damaged latch. (This was pointed out to the owner the next day - so should be repaired soon). The car parking area for the unit is approached by a very steep driveway which may not suit some drivers. However, there is 'on street' parking.

Apartment was one of several at the rear of the owner's cafe. It was situated above the cafe which gave views across the fjord and the adjoining hills. As it was self catering, the amenities were good and a discount was offered if you used the cafe. It is situated on the edge of the town of Borgarnes, with a coastal footpath around the district, a short distance away. There are local museums within walking distance.

The door was not easy to open and close. There was a problem with the shower drain but after telling the owners they looked into it.

Huge room with plenty of space for luggage to be placed. Plenty of heating for the space. Staff were very helpful. Kitchen had all necessary facilities.

it's an old building and they have issues with humidity but they do everything they can; new frying pan is definitely needed (we didn't dare to cook with those)

Kitchen a bit small, and lacking some equipment for cooking such as spatulas and frying pans that were in good condition.
