Would have liked a TV. Smart TV best. Didn't care for the long gravel road to get to the location. About 5 miles of gravel. Very remote, bring food/drinks, as nothing around for 15 minutes. Sheets and Duvet cover not very soft.

Cute cottage on a remote farm in the middle of no where. Exceptional place to see northern lights, if there were any. Nice heated floors.

Not at all the fault of the facility: we had three adults and it felt a bit cramped. Again, is a charming option for a couple.

A charming option for lodging between Vik and Reykjavik, in the countryside. Perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. Plan ahead and take food for breakfast.

The kitchenette space (shared with the other guest) was smaller than anticipated and the house electrical capacity did not support all kitchen appliances. However, our hosts were kind enough to make other arrangements to allow us to prepare our meal.

There was a separate entrance (shared with one other guest). The bedroom space, bathroom, and common spaces were very clean and organized. The interactions with our hosts were very friendly and hospitable.

It is far away from stores etc., the roads could be a challenge in really bad weather without a 4x4.

Great and attentive host who provides good tips and conversation. Rooms were very comfortable and the common areas are nice, kitchen was very useful. Great shower for getting the grime of travelling off of you. If the weather is good there is seating outside, very nice stay!

Everything was clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Easy communication with the owner. There is a shared bathroom and kitchen but we were lucky enough the be there alone that night so we had the whole place to ourselves. Ps the owner has cute dogs and one extra cute puppy!

The place is bit out of the way, so stock up on food, fuel before reaching. But setting of the house is very serene and beautiful.

The place is clean, well equipped with basic necessities and is comfortable to stay in. We got stuck in orange alert and there was another booking. The owner assured us that we can come back if we cannot travel ahead and she will arrange something for us instead of risking it to drive further. Thanks Sigga for everything

We liked the property but it is not finished being renovated when we stayed in one of the rooms.

The property was out in the middle of a dark area and was beautiful during sunrise. Unfortunately, the Northern Lights did not come out that we noticed but if they did it would have been the perfect spot to see them. It was an overall good stay and hosts were friendly and provided a small cook top area.

Host was shouting through the house at 10pm. When asked to tone it down he just shouted that it’s not midnight yet Pictures are very misleading! Show cottages and other rooms - whilst this is mainly an extra room in the house next to the washing room. As other people mentioned kitchen is a fridge next to the private washer. You have to wash the dishes next to the toilet (see pictures). Not worth the money!

The kitchen facilities are abysmal! There is only an induction hot plate, very small fridge and a microwave. You have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink.

The place was clean and the bedrooms were comfortable. They had the infrastructure to allow our plug in hybrid to be charged.

There were no curtains on many of the windows and in the summer in Iceland, this meant that the apartment was flooded with light all night long. Check in was confusing and we had to call the owners. We also were not given the cottage that we had seen photos of on the site, and that we thought we were booking. We were put into a much less nice converted apartment in a garage that I would not have chosen to stay at, had I known that's what I was supposedly booking. Also, the door didn't lock.

The bed was comfortable and there was a good shower. The hosts were friendly but disorganized.

Beautiful property w a view of the countryside. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Perfect location to spend the night on a tour of southern Iceland.
