The whole experience was lovely. From the friendly and helpful staff to the large, clean room, to the delicious breakfast with extensive selection. They had a very detailed binder in the room which gave a lot of information and several details regarding the hotel itself and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Husavik area.

The only thing that would have made the stay even more perfect is if the room would have had a fridge. But they were very accommodating and provided us ice for our cooler both at night and the next morning. That was greatly appreciated, and we didn't miss the fridge at all.

Location Clean Food

The staff were awesome. They gave great recommendations and were really helpful. The place was very clean, spacious and had great beds.

Breakfast could be better, lacking variety. The hotel is located a bit far from Húsavík and Mývatn—about 25 minutes to Húsavík and nearly an hour to Mývatn.

The location worked well for us as it was close to myvatn and hustavik. Breakfast was great and the accommodations were excellent.

It was a pleasure to stay there. Obviously, the hotel is a family run business and it shows in every single detail. From the very friendly welcome to the possibilty to stay in the main building for the evening where there is a large offering of books to read and family games to play as well as the cute cat - we loved everything. We were offered freshly home made cookies and other snacks for free. The breakfast was gorgeous: it left no desires unfullfilled : vegetables, fruits, home-made bread, marmelade as well as cake & cookies. We were sad to only stay for one night and would definitely return!

Hotel owners were very friendly. The place was nice and cozy. We loved the receptionist cat. We were needed an early breakfast and the hotel stuff made it possible.

Amazing location, plus the owners and staff were extremely friendly. The room was very spacious, with a very big and comfortable bed, along with a big bathroom.

Absolutely stunning location and property. The staff were so friendly, the complimentary breakfast was unreal, the décor was charming, the cats were adorable, and the hot tub was a perfect place to spend the evening. We had the most magical night and definitely recommend staying here. We were sad to leave.

Literally the only thing was that a tour bus was parked in front of the hot tubs which blocked the gorgeous view.

It is not reasonable to request an additional payments for Capuchino on breakfast in such rates of rooms.

Beautiful location, spacious room, good restaurant on the property, common areas for guests with book and games, friendly staff.

The location is amazing for wildlife watching and fishing. Staff very helpful for where to go for both activities. Convenient for Húsavík whale watching. Absolutely loved staying there and didn’t want to leave! The room was very spacious and clean with a great view over the valley.

We stayed for 3 nights which meant we’d tried most of the menu.
