Guest House is in a splendid and scenic place.

Design, cleanliness, atmosphere!

During our trip in Iceland, we stayed in many cottages and this was one of the good ones! The air in the room was fresh and the shared kitchen and bathroom worked great. Everything was also clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was also very helpful and gave us good tips for our next destination.

I was missing bigger tea cups, but this was partly my mistake since I didn't check all the drawers in room until we were leaving. So a tip for next guest: check all the cupboards in the kitchen and in your room for finding more cups, plates and cutlery.

The place was easy to find. About 10 minutes drive off the main road in a farming land. Nice view outside. The cottage was small but warm. Kitchen was also small but has most of utensils needed. The host was nice, provided a regional map and some tourism information.

Shared shower and toilet is in another cottage so was not so convenient, especially in a raining night.

It is an old house, full of old and interesting decorative items. The house is very clean. We felt very good here.

The gravelroad to the accommodation is long

Host is very generous. He lets us upgrade room type without any extra charge. The room is good. And dinner is very delicious! We strongly recommend this hotel!

Lovely scenery, clean and comfortable rooms and the best food we had during our holiday; everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.

The beds in Europe are too soft to sleep in

Beautiful setting out in the farmlands. Hiking trail nearby right off the farm track. Old lovely farmstead, but the walls are paper thin. Heard dinner in the on-site dining room next door till late hours. Hosts were charming and food was terrific. Wiring and switches for the heating was a little bit tricky.

Our room backed up to the dining room and it was noisy. Beds could be improved; a bit lumpy and soft.

Wonderful cozy room and charming hosts. The farm is beautiful. And, the dinner is my main reason for coming here, again and again. One of my best fish dinners in Iceland.

Very interesting experience of staying on a farmhouse. The room was definitely better furnished than what I expect. The bed was super comfy and the sheets are very very clean.

It's hard to put my finger on it but it seems like the room is clean in some areas and dirty in others. It's probably because it's managed by an older couple but the toilet was stained very badly from the previous guest and it was not cleaned. Also a clear suggestion to rubber proof the shower because I cut myself on one of the sharp edges when I was stepping out of the shower.

The host is super friendly. The location is a bit out of the way, but the mountain views are amazing and the place is very peaceful. There are also two cute little lambs on the farm, though you can't get too close. Overall, it's a great spot to relax. Highly recommend!
