Location was excellent. Lucky to have top floor with a view, but struggled to get cases up four flights of stairs. Everything in the apartment was very good.

I believe it needs better cleaning and some furniture replacement. It was a bit outdated, but everything worked properly.

The stove was a bit fussy and we could have used a larger pot for pasta. It is on the 4th floor with stair access only, but we enjoyed being on the top floor. Other than that, everything was great.

This apartment is in central Reykjavik in an ideal location. It's equipped with a full kitchen and walking distance to downtown restaurants and the BMI bus station for tours.To save on dining, we shopped at the local Bonus and prepared meals in the kitchen. A small balcony offers views of the central church. There is also an excellent Thai restaurant just below who provided us with keys and has good food options. Overall, this is one of the better options for couples and very affordable for Reykjavik.

Parking. Because it is located in the center of the city. The parking is difficult and expensive. My room was on the top of that apartment. It was level 4. There is no lift.

The location can’t be beat. From the window you can see the church and the rainbow street. It was very spacious. My husband and I both agreed it was the best place we’ve ever stayed. As soon as we walked in the apartment we both said “I wish we were here longer.” Would definitely stay again.

You have to be fit to navigate the stairs from the 1st level to either the 2nd, 3rd or 4th level. We did the 4th level, now we’re even fitter! If you are driving, you’ll have to be patient with finding a parking lot.

Nothing beats this location! Very close and within walking distance to most of the wonderful eateries, bakeries and shops. The apartment was cozy and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped and a small balcony with the view of Hallgrímskirkja was a bonus. The living view room window view of the street below was nice too. We had a great 2 nights’ stay here!

You have to carry your luggage up. Bathroom sink is very small. We used kitchen sink instead.

Excellent location. Good view in balcony. Option to cook. Option to eat Tai Food downstairs. Tai restaurant could store our luggage in the morning at 9:30 for a short time before check-in.

Comfortable and practical apartment in a great location in the heart of Reykjavík. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen equipment and toiletries. Beds were very comfortable and the room was light and bright with views down to the sea and over the street. We enjoyed being in walking distance of the older and newer areas of Reykjavík and found a lovely bakery round the corner for breakfast! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The room or i should say apartment had perfect location, it even had a balcony from where you could see church. Kitchen was big had everything you need. It was very clean and comfortable. Keys very easy to get from restaurant downstairs. Would definitely stay again.

Location was wonderful in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. It is above a Thai restaurant we picked up the key from the cashier inside the restaurant. Our room was on the highest floor and we had to carry our luggage up the narrow stairs. We parked near the church where there was free parking, and when we returned in the evening, there was free parking on the street as it was after hours. The rooms were clean and wifi was strong. The balcony had a great view of downtown and the church. The water smelled like suphur. Amazing value for the price we paid.

It was perfect

This apartment is just great. It is located in the center on the main street, and parking is close. The apartment is on the third floor without elevator, but it was not an issue for us. The apartment is large and clean, and the kitchen is well furnished: fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and coffe maker; coffee, instant coffe were preovided. The bathroom is very large with a beautiful shower. Check-in instructions are not clear: you have to enter the Thai restaurant and ask them. I got this information from the reviews and not from the property.

Parking not easy but not impossible.

Great location, on-hand and helpful host. Spacious, well-equipped apartment, that was comfortable, quiet and reasonable value for expensive Reykjavík. Range of eating places within walking distance, mini market round the corner.

Check-in was a little hectic- I received the email with specific check-in instructions/lockbox code quite a bit in advance of my trip and subsequently lost the email. That was on me, however, there was no one around to help with check-in and eventually I had to borrow a local storekeeper's phone to call the owner who, rather gruffly, repeated the key code. I would have appreciated a follow-up from the host closer to my trip. Instructions on booking could have also used some pictures and more specific directions- I had trouble finding the front door as well as the back door with the lockbox.

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a gorgeous location- right down the street from the church and in a good location. The view from the balcony is great! Everything was clean and orderly.

The only thing that would make it better would be a few more kitchen utensils, like a spatula.

We picked up our keys from a restaurant less than one minute walk away. Picking up keys was very easy and checkout was easy as well. The place had a spacious living room area and dining room. Blackout curtains in room were helpful. The bathroom was a decent size and beds were comfortable. Place had a full size refrigerator, tea kettle and other items. The surrounding area was cute as well. We did street parking for the car which wasn't a big issue due to the time of day we came and left. Just a note that we had to climb stairs to get to our room on the second floor, which wasn't a problem for us as we don't have mobility issues and packed light. Would definitely stay at again.
