The hot water smelled strongly of rotten eggs. Had to shower and brush our teeth with water set on cold setting as even a little bit of warm water was unbearable. Luckily it was summer.

Location was easy walk to the places we wanted to visit. Spacious room and bed was very comfortable.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the decor was old and falling apart. There was only one tiny sink and mirror for getting ready. This made it difficult to share between two people.

The property was quiet and provided plenty of street parking spaces nearby. The breakfast was a good value and conveniently delivered to our door every morning.

Sewer gas smell coming from bathroom constantly. They couldn't or wouldn't do anything and apparently had no room to switch us to. Pillows didn't provide much support.

Easy to access, very clean. I had a problem with the lock, called them, they responded right away and fixed it for me. Nice big kitchen with everything you need. Nice eating area. Room was small but very cozy.

The place was clean, safe and comfortable but needs a bit of maintenance, a lick of paint here and there would be good! The Breakfast bag contents varied a bit from day to day , on the "thinner" day it was barely enough!

JULY 2025 : It's a reasonable guesthouse, at a reasonable price for Reykjavik. You get a code for the front door by email a few hours before, room key is in the room door, never saw any staff in 2 days there, there is a phone number if problems. Three person room with a double bed and single was plenty big enough for 2 Adults, 1 Child and all our baggage. Approx 900m walk from BSi Terminal (for International Airport FlyBus) and 100m from Bus stop for Number 15 City Bus to Domestic Airport everything in Reykjavik is walkable from here. It's in a quiet area of town near the hospital. If included in your rate (or you have option to pay) breakfast is delivered in a bag outside the room early each morning, the buffet Breakfast photo in kitchen you see in earlier reviews is no longer provided. There is a a NesPresso machine and fridge in the room in the room and a decent coffee machine, kettle microwave and firdage in the kitchen Lounge on first floor with a few books in it, people were leaving luggage here when checking out, but it's just a room, not a "true" luggage facility (Bounce are on Laugerweg if you want something more secure)

The shower door was so small that I didn't feel comfortable entering the shower. The facilities are a bit dated which may bother some people but not others. (My family was split on this.) The thing we found most odd was that we never saw any of the staff. They were responsive, just invisible.

This was a good value for the money. The room was clean and the Guesthouse easy to reach. It's an easy walk to the BSI terminal.The bed was wide and comfortable.

The bathroom. There was a smell of stagnant water, Particularly after using the shower. However the bathroom was otherwise very clean.

Breakfast was just ok, but the bakery bag on the final day was lovely.

The location is nice for walking and near to anything you might need. It was convenient to use the key codes and my room was smaller, but clean and bright. I used the kitchen facilities and appreciated this.

When we arrived, there was no-one there to welcome us, show where our room was, or explain the set-up in the kitchen; we had to work this out ourselves. One of the windows in our room had no blackouts. There was a coffee machine in our room, but the coffee pods didn't seem to fit it. There was also an electric kettle in the room, but no tea bags or instant coffee to make a drink with.

Very good location - handy for downtown and for the airport bus. The breakfast was generous, although no choice was available. The owners responded quickly to email queries, and staff were friendly and helpful.

The apartments are located in the city center, with shops and restaurants nearby. There is also a kitchen where you can cook or heat food. It was convenient to leave the car right next to it on the street (free of charge).

Nothing to cover the windows in the little kitchen area so in the non-darkness months of Iceland the light continues to shine through into the bedroom so we couldn’t sleep beyond 5am

We got multiple spam messages from them trying to steal our credit card information. I’m not sure if that was their fault or Booking.com got hacked?

The room was clean, we didn’t hear any other guests, there was easy free street parking right outside. Easy contactless checkin after a late flight. We would stay again!

We stayed during the off-season, so communication with staff was primarily through e-mail (no staff regularly on site) - but they were very responsive and helpful. Location was tremendous - near downtown, Perlan Museum, Airport bus terminal, etc. One thing to consider, although there was a sink in our room, we shared a full bathroom (shower, toilet, etc) with 3 other guest rooms, so “peak” times in morning got busy. Great and comfortable home base though.

The place was a little bit tired, but nothing that would impact the stays. Getting into the shower was quite narrow, you can hear the raid crossing outside if you have the window open, although not majorly intrusive. Very much a hands off experience, didn't encounter any staff the entire time.

The location right next to a main road and traffic light / pedestrian crossing was noisy at all times of the day and some of the night too (at least for the single room on the front and side of the house).

Good location and good communication considering I never meet any staff face to face. Room was very large but so much traffic noise all night long through the closed windows. Can’t complain about anything really, apart from the noise of traffic but nothing really stood out to me.
