The house is wonderful. It's very clean and cozy, with a kitchen and everything you need to cook (including oil, salt, etc.). The area is beautiful. The owner is very helpful and friendly, and he was very accommodating with all our requests. I definitely recommend this place! We were very satisfied!

Our host left several items in the kitchen which was very useful to us especially because we were not able to find simple items like eggs and tomatoes on our way. Its a very comfortable guesthouse, warm enough for our little one. Thank you very much.

Newly renovated, modern and cozy guesthouse right off the road. Extremely clean, home had everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Had no issue whatsoever with the water. The best bed/bedding, easy check in and checkout, great communication with friendly host, clear instructions on accessing home, beautiful views, quiet, saw the aurora right over the farm!

The cute house is on a beautiful farm. It looks rustic outside but is new and modern inside—very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay.

The only downside was the taste of the well water, but we understand that's typical for a farm.

This was probably my favorite of all the places we stayed at during our Iceland trip! The cottage is so cute and well equipped and the location is lovely. Dísa and her family were wonderful hosts and gave us great recommendations for where to go, and following her advice I booked a riding tour with Hestasport, which was really great. The horses and sheep on the farm are really cute and the dogs are so sweet!

The house is clean, comfortable, and warm. Everything inside is prepared with care to make travelers feel at home. It has a great location, close to Road 1, but at the same time it is quiet with excellent views of fields, mountains, and sheep.

Beautiful cottage on a picturesque location, decorated with a perfect balance of tasteful and practical.

The place is located in the perfect mountain and the field we love it so much!

Peaceful and convenient location, right off the main road Host greeted us warmly (along with the family dog who was very cute and friendly!) Kitchen available, with a gas station down the road where you can buy ingredients for a simple breakfast

Water smells strongly of sulfur. We didn't feel comfortable drinking or showering in it, so would recommend bringing bottled water.

This place was wonderful. Could not have been any better. Disa was an excellent hostess and the setting was idyllic. I would absolutely stay here in a heartbeat.

Absolutely romantic little cabin in the middle of nowhere (on a farm), surrounded by cute animals (horses, duck, sheep and a dog). This cottage has the perfect size for two, including the bed (they are usually very small in Iceland but not here). It has a fully functional kitchen including fridge and microwave, very nice porcelain and overall the owner choose not only very tasteful furniture and fittings but also good quality. Unfortunately we had a cloudy night as this place is ideal for Aurora Borealis watching otherwise. Super nice and responsive owner too.

Only small negative is the strong sulphuric smell of the shower. This was the strongest in all Iceland and in other hotels we had almost no smell.

Nothing to not like but just for others to note. We were looking for wood or yellowish colour house but the house was black.

It was a very nice stay and I wish I had more days! I am glad I have chosen this place. Wonderful experience.

It's another level! The best accommodation so far in our road trip around Iceland.. It's a lovely house with everything you need for your stay. The views are superb.
