We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment and we have access to our own small kitchenette. The bedrooms and toilet are clean. There is also a shared living room with a TV and kitchen in the building which was clean and spacious.

We had some difficulties with the self-check in because the other guests had closed the front door from the inside. Only two bathrooms for several people. Tiny room. Some labels to identify your food and a "free stuff" box would have been great to have.

If you are doing the loop backward and want a good head start, this place is perfect. Or if you are ending the day late and dont want to drive all the way back, it is very worth a night's break.

The really bad smelling water. It seems to be an issue all over Iceland, so it's not specific to this property per se, but it's worse here than other properties. Cold water has no smell but the warm/hot water is pungent and unbearable.

We stayed at 10 different guesthouses on the Ring road and most of them had the same problem - overused kitchen items, precicely old sticky pans that burn meat and egs, but you manage to work with it. This accomodation wasn't too bad regarding this exact problem but don't expect new dishes and pans. Everything else was really great.

Clean rooms with private bathroom, parking, enough space in the kitchen, self check-in. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals. We really liked it here and would recommend it to anyone doing the Ring Road.

My window faced the main entrance to the building which could be somewhat noisy.

The location was very convenient to the Golden Circle. The guest house had an excellent shared kitchen. The room was comfortable and clean. We didn’t get to meet any staff.

It can be a little noisy in the rooms next to the shared kitchen. But otherwise, we had a good experience here.

We arrived at night and it was hard to see where the entrance was. We went into the downstairs private area. Would be nice if there was more light on the building to show you the name at night and know where to park/enter.

The location and pricing worked out great for us. They had a nice big shared kitchen as well as a cute balcony area. Luckily there was only one other room booked in this building, so we had a nice quiet stay here. The doors were creaky so it worked out that it wasn't too busy!

There were no spoons and glasses at all, and not enough cutlery / cups (or generally other basics) for the three of us, even though the place is for more people. Ideally it would be good to have some eating / food place on site , since it is so remote , particularly if you were travelling all day and come only in the evening to sleep. Shower did not have a great water pressure.

Everything was quite good, especially the size - massive, completely self contained apartment. Very warm, good instructions to reach the property. Very quiet surroundings.

A very large guesthouse with multiple pleasant sitting areas. Large dining area and well used kitchen. Two wings of rooms each have shared toilet/shower. Good location on Golden Circle travels. Comfortable bed.

Very basic, but really all you need: warm, comfy, clean and safe. Do not expect any social activities in the winter . You are on your own.

-Towel is provided but no body soap nor hair shampoo. -Room was smaller than expected and only a small lamp table to put things. -Limited parking space? We were first to arrive so we got lucky. Two more cars fitted into the roadside parking behind us, but there were at least 2 other groups that were in the house, I wonder where they parked. -Unlucky for us, a family with a noisy baby stayed right beside us, so our sleep was disturbed by the baby cry that lasted all night to the morning.

-Bathroom is spacious and clean, but drainage was slow. -Guesthouse is much more spacious than expected, with a big dining place, a big kitchen, two interaction/TV/boardgame rooms. Good for big group.
