The noise from other rooms are too loud. We were awaken by some strange sound in the midnight. Maybe the hotel can invest a bit in sound-proof wall next time. It is marked as 4 stars in Booking.com, which makes the expectation a bit higher than necessary.

It is convenient to have a dinner and breakfast in the hotel after a long drive. The hotel compound is large and it has walkway so that you do not need to walk to your room in the cold. Parking is easy in front of the hotel. Breakfast is great. Unfortunately we did not make use of the outdoor hot pool after our dinner.

The room was a little small for a family of four, but that is what you get. And, if you order chicken fingers at the restaurant, you will get frozen chicken nuggets.

We had to wait quite some time to be seated in the bistro even if there were a lot of empty tables at the time.

The room was clean, and the access to hot pools and sauna was a plus. Breakfast was good, with better coffee than other hotels we stayed along the ring road.

We were in the 'outside' access part of the hotel. It felt a little like they had rushed to finish adding more rooms. Shower is not completely enclosed, so water runs all over the bathroom floor.

Rooms were very clean. Beds comfortable. Decent blackout blinds. Great selection of items for breakfast buffet.

The twin beds were quite narrow (my friend rolled over and fell out of hers) and the mattresses sagged in the middle. Only one pillow per bed as well. I had high expectations for the breakfast since many other reviewers said it was the best they had in Iceland, but it left a lot to be desired. We used the hot tub and sauna on our first evening, but it was not very hot, and there was a good amount of dirt in it. And I can see how the sauna would be cold in the winter.

Super fast and easy check-in. Quiet at night. Ample breakfast spread with solid coffee. Friendly staff let us keep some food items in the fridge at the bar.

Sofa bed not very comfy and kept awake by noisy fridge but might just be because I’m a light sleeper- didn’t affect the other 3 people staying.

The family room while slept a family of four comfortably, left little room for our luggage and the bathroom was hard to access with the couch bed full assembled.

Location was convenient to starting Golden Circle next morning after the conclusion of our Ring Road week. The breakfast buffet was sizable and included many options.

Such a great place to stay at in Iceland. We loved having access to the hot tub and sauna ! It was so nice after a day of hiking and driving. The room was comfortable for both of us, breakfast was also great. A lot of choice, we stayed in 9 different place in Iceland and it was the best breakfast we had.

The most pricey place I stayed. Bed was comfy and clean but was actually two single pushed together with a double sheet and duvet not a double bed

Good size room with en suite. Two hot tubs and saunas (actually saw Northern Lights from the tub!). Very clean and spacious place, easy to find, just off Highway 1 in Hella. Breakfast buffet was very good and varied.
