I travelled with my 11 year old son and as soon as we entered the property, we were captivated. We were met by the host's daughter and the gorgeous dog, Moa, who my son fell instantly in love with! The host and her family were so lovely and friendly. The house was gorgeous, full of personal artwork, trinkets and plants. I couldn't have been happier! And the garden / woodland was full of places to explore, mushrooms to find - heaven for a young mycologist! The host made us feel so at home. We will definitely stay with her again if(when!) we return to Iceland. Our biggest thanks 😊 🙏 💓

Great location, outside of Reykjavík but still very close. The house is close to the forest so it is very quiet there. The house is very lovely decorated with things from the host´s travel.s The lady is very nice and has a very cute dog (the dog is very friendly and quiet)

If you like privacy, you should know you are really living with the person in the house who can have their guests, and uses everything you are using.

The house is clean, have everything you need, and the woman living there is kind. It feels like a home and it feels comfortable staying there. Very cute dog

Very nice host and such a unique house! Facilities were all good as well and it’s just 20 min from Reijkvyavik. The most unique and non-problematic stay in Iceland! P.S. only if you don’t mind a host being in the place of your stay, since for some people it might be lacking a bit of personal space, but not us!

A beautiful house, with artistic touches, in the forest, on the outskirts of Reykjavík. The most important is the very hospitable Gudbjorg, she made us feel at home. In Iceland I have stayed in several rooms for rent in the last 2 weeks. This was really a big surprise! Very beautiful surroundings, all amenities, friendly welcome from Gudbjorg and her dog Moa, at a very economical price

Everything was perfect, nothing to dislike. Just be aware there is a dog (sweet and friendly, my kids loved her) in case you are allergic.

This is a room in the house, where the owners, a very kind and friendly couple, live with their sweet young dog. There are 2 guest bedrooms and the bathroom, kitchen, living room, are shared. It is spotlessly clean, beds confortable. Parking in front of the house. It is just off Reykjavik, short ride towards the residential area.

We enjoyed the comfty beds, friendly host, flexible check-in and the beautiful house, which was very good located for our last days at Iceland. It's near to Golden Circle too. The dog is super cute and friendly. No need to be afraid.

Beautiful location a little bit off the street embeded in nature. The hosts were very lovely and communicative. It was a great place to stay for one night on the go, private bedroom, shared bathroom and kitchen. We got lots of tips for our trip in Iceland.

This house was a lovely place to be. You got the homely feeling when you enter it. The lady is sharing her 2 extra rooms via booking.com. We have stayed there for last 2 nights in Iceland. The room we stayed was big enough to put everything we have before final packing before flight. Shared bathroom is usual. There is an extra toilet in the ground level as well.

We stayed two nights and it worked great for us but it might be a little difficult for longer stays just because of the shared space.

Our host was exceptional in giving recommendations and led us to one of our favorite views on the trip. The distance to Reykjavik coupled with the privacy of the house cannot be beat. We had lots of fun meeting new people while staying at this house!!
