The location was better than I could have imagined. We couldn't have done better if we tried. Perfection. The amenities were top tier. We stayed in a different location every night on our 8 day trip around the Ring Road and this place was our favorite.

    Nothing.

Very nice room on the first floor. The room was spacious and immaculate. Perfect location...right in town. The town in super cute with a couple of good restaurants.

Our room was on the first floor facing the street. With the window shades, which we needed for privacy, we could not open the windows and the room was a bit hot. I would recommend a room on the lagoon side.

Perfect location and beautiful setting, great room

Didn’t know ahead of time that there was no concierge and that there’s no sound proofing

Can’t beat the location. Room was clean. And they left a few little thoughtful touches.

Walls are thin. Room was pretty basic for the price but sufficient.

A lovely big room in an an old historic hotel, We loved Seydisfjordur and took a wonderful hike up to a series of waterfalls. The weather wasn't perfect but the room and our stay was.

It was all great. Just too short.

Amazing view/deck. Location can’t be beat. You are staying on the beautiful rainbow road. The hosts were great at communicating and left a yummy chocolate bar. The restaurant, Kaffi Lara El Grillo Bar was close and amazing.

I wish I knew that there was a refrigerator. Also, they only had shampoo but no conditioner which I expected.

We were able to get a balcony room and so sat outside in the morning on the balcony and enjoyed our free coffee. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The room was clean and so comfortable. We walked around the lagoon for a beautiful walk in the morning and in the early evening.

I sure cant say anything about our lodgings

It was clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and the bathroom was sparkling. The information was clear and understandable.

Backing onto the rainbow street. If you want to stay here, make sure you are on the lagoon side!

Super location. Very clean, organized and well appointed rooms. Great place to stay - loved Seydisyfjord!

Maybe a little bigger work surface for those of us that have to work on vacation :)

Self check in was a breeze with the keys conveniently left in envelopes with each quests name. The rooms facing the water have beautiful little balconies with chairs and you can even see the lovely waterfall. The hotel is located right on the rainbow street and everything is easily walkable. This is truly the prettiest town in east Iceland and Vid Lonid Guesthouse is a wonderful place to rest yourself. We are sorry we only stayed one night.

This was THE best place to be! We were here for 2 nights. The view was spectacular, bed was very comfortable, and going to sleep with the sound of the waterfall was the icing on the very special experience. Breakfast at The Filling Station was delicious. Thank you!

The beds were just a bit too soft. We prefer a bit more support. The windows overlooked the pathway so blinds had to be always shut for privacy. Consider installing privacy curtains? Or something to offer closure but light. Excellent shower ! Loved the efficient coffee maker ! Chocolate bar was a super nice touch !
