Nothing! We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone. It was fun the eat breakfast and watch the cows being milked. In Myvatn, Stay at Vogafoss Farm Resort!

While the hotel is a little older, the rooms were much larger with more space than any of the other 4 we stayed in. Breakfast and dinner were some of the best on the 13 day trip. The bathroom was nice, not large but accommodating. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating in every way.

Cottages are in a different location, which is a minor redundant complaint imo. No mini fridge to keep your food fresh. Also minor complaint since you can just leave it in your car in this climate.

Spacious rooms with sizable beds. Fantastic shower. Continental breakfast with a view of the cows in the stall. Cows are getting milked at 7:30 in the morning for extra entertainment.

Nice small house next to a farm. Good breakfast. Very close to many incredible points of interest (Nature baths, Lava fields, Hverfjall crater, Námafjall Hverir, etc...)

There is no soundproofing whatsoever. I listened to the guy in the next room snore all night which was extremely annoying.

Property is in an excellent location for exploring the area. The restaurant was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable but nothing special.

As they are a farm they only provide cows milk & when I asked for soy milk due to allergies there are no options. They have a proper coffee machine but it’s not available for breakfast & the rooms don’t have a fridge. We rang to see if we could check in at 2pm instead of 3pm & the staff refused to find out if the room would be ready.

The room was a good size, central location & includes breakfast and the option for dinner. Dinner was very nice but in the expensive side. There is a lounge area where you can relax & even watch the cows being milked.

Just a note for people who want to stay here next: the rooms are in a different location than the location where the restaurant and the cows are. A five minute walk and a one-minute drive

Didn’t love that the rooms were across the street but not a huge deal.

I was not charged at time of booking but when I arrived and price had gone up considerably.

The guesthouse was like a log cabin and so roomy and cute. We had our own patio set and a shared picnic table. We watched cows be milked at breakfast and dinner and food was excellent. Convenient location.

The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious and fresh but the dinner menu is very pricey - even for Iceland!

I loved the room, the well cared-for cows, the restaurant, the authentic gift shop and the kind and helpful staff (particularly in reception)

The restaurant is overpriced for dinner.

We especially appreciated the architecturally appealing reception and restaurant area, which is attached to a former cowshed—now a demonstration farm—that gives the place real character. The guest rooms are located a few hundred meters away, in modern yet slightly rustic bungalows on the opposite side of the road. The combination of rural charm and contemporary comfort is thoughtfully and successfully achieved.

A bit of distance to the restaurant.

Cosy beautiful warm room with comfortable bed. Loved the unique restaurant with windows to see the cows in the barn and a beautiful view of the pasture on the other side. Super delicious food, pricey but worth it.
