“This property is at the very top of fort Bard, an amazing historical fort and museum. After the visitors leave you have private access to the fort . I was pleasantly surprised by the modern facilities and tasteful decor of the hotel. It is a lot nicer than depicted in the pictures.There is a car park at the bottom of the fort that connect directly to the series of lifts and funiculars that transport you to the hotel . They welcomed my dog who was allowed on these lifts if he wore a muzzle ( they provided this ) no one else was on the lifts at the time we used them so it was not necessary.”
