“The location is perfect. I know the town well and the property is well located within the town with convenient parking nearby and in walking distance to the facilities of the town and the starts of various hikes. We like hiking in the national parks and Civitella Alfedena is a perfect base. The main windows overlook the valley and Villetta Barea and we were surprised to see wolves in the sanctuary below us on the last day, this must be the reserve sanctuary for the wolves as it is separate to the main one. The night time temperatures were quite cold but the heating system kept the house warm at all times.”
