“If you have never been to an agritourism guesthouse - a family business like the one run by the Sereni family, you should do it as soon as possible. It is absolutely an oasis of fresh air, peace, friendly and welcoming staff. We received a large apartment, with a sleeping area for children and its own TV, another level of ecotourism. I couldn't help but notice the expensive ceramics in the bathroom and the fittings, the spacious shower and the cosmetics provided. Free parking and car charging with a station for Tesla. You should also try the tour with a guide who speaks perfect English at Acetaia - the factory that produces Aceto balsamic di Modena IGP. Tasting is on the house. The restaurant is divine, with a terrace and sophisticated dishes. The view of the sunset and the valley with grape vineyards is like something out of a fairy tale.”
“Marie is absolutely amazing, very caring and attentive. Facilities were immaculate. Like a home away from home. Even stayed an extra night we liked it that much.”
“Villa Agavi - a hidden gem
Ilaria and her family was the most welcoming and frendliest hosts ever.
They property is amazing with plants, trees, flowers and hens/roosters. The pool is super refreshing with a nice view. Our children 2 and 5yrs old had a great time with plenty of things to do on the property.
The rooms are brand new and beautifully decorated, with well working A/C.
Ilaria helped us a lot with booking restaurants and Parmigiano tasting. We also had the best food (pinsa, bruschetta and salads) and Lambrusco wine prepared and served by Ilaria on our 12days trip in Italy. This was a 5* experience.
This place is worth a detour and we will be back as soon as we can.”
“The breakfast was wonderful. It was delivered in a large box and included some wonderful breakfast pastries and juices. We enjoyed eating it outside on the patio.
There was already plenty of tea, coffee, Melba toast and jams in the property as well as olive oil, vinegar and other condiments. This was a real treat.
The hosts were excellent and so friendly and the view was absolutely stunning. It was very rural with magnificent mountains and valley views.
The property was immaculate and finished to the highest standard.
We loved the enormous windows right round and it was like a dream laying on the big round bed, watching the moon rise above the mountains directly opposite.”
