Giuditta went above and beyond for my family at every turn. One of the highlights was the hosted dinner on the estate under the pergola, where she and her family made us feel so special. It was an evening to remember! My 14-year-old son still raves about the homemade pizza — he says it’s the best he’s ever had!
From the moment we arrived to when we waved goodbye, every detail was priceless. Giuditta has thought of everything — the facilities, location, views, and cleanliness are all exceptional. There’s not a single thing I could suggest for improvement; everything was flawless.

“Podere Mona was the perfect late-afternoon stopover on our northbound road trip by hire car. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who—despite the language gap—made every effort to connect, with a mix of broken English, our patchy Italian, and a trusty translation app bridging the rest.
The apartment was clean, characterful, and well-equipped, though the “kitchen-in-a-cupboard” felt like a missed opportunity given the generous room size.
It was one of several stays on our Italian journey, and while we’d happily return for another night, a longer stay would depend on a few thoughtful tweaks.

“Spacious apartment with all you need. Aircon works well. Nice swimming pool, plenty of room for all.
The town has a few shops, supermarket and bars.
Some nice restaurants just a short drive.
We had a car Volterra about 30 mins - and the other major towns San G - sienna etc an hour or so away”
