“Hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. We moved around to different areas and I wish I could go back and stay here the whole time. The hotel was remote so the first thing we felt was genuine peace and quiet. The hotel is close enough to Pienza and Montepulciano so it was a good hub to get us to areas to visit. I found this area of Tuscany to be the most beautiful. The hotel staff were absolutely incredible, it felt like we had family taking care of us and it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves. The food was the best of our trip as well -- coffee and food made to order, fresh fruit/cerelas/Yoghurt as well as meat/cheeses and delicious pastries. Rooms were incredibly clean, the surrounding countryside was beautiful and the pool was also lovely. There was nothing that was bad about this place and I genuinely wish we had more time there. Would highly recommend.”
“I had an absolutely incredible stay at Il Giuncheto - it’s perhaps the most peaceful place I’ve ever been. Every small detail has been thought through and beautifully designed, there’s a stunning view of the surrounding countryside and it’s so quiet. It’s the perfect place to relax and reset.
The food was fantastic as well. The breakfast was quite the spread and beautifully presented. They also cook homemade lunches and dinners that were superb.
But above all, the Ciro, the owner, and the staff make Il Giuncheto so special. Ciro is incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that his spirit brings a special touch to Il Giuncheto. He predicted every need before it arose and shared his love of the region and cuisine. The staff were also wonderful - they went truly above and beyond. I’m looking forward to going back next year.”
