Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Ther is nothing to not like in Tanzi Home.

Clean big room, located at the 7'th floor with a beautiful view of Bari. Coffee machine available for a morning Italian coffee. Small fridge available also and working AC. Parked the car on the street in front of the building.

Problem with regulating the shower, it’s either too hot or too cold. Not worth reducing the rating for though.

Everything was as presented by the owner. The location is convenient and gives a taste of local ambience. The accommodation is great, clean and well maintained. The Peach room has a great terrace. Dolce vita breakfast 😉 And last, but not least, the owner Gaetano was very professional, kind and helpful 👌

There really were no negative points.
Excellent room, super comfortable, extremely clean. Wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. Location was great for us, easy access, walking routes and good amenities nearby. All in all fantastic and would book again.

It tends to get really hot in the room during the night - but if you don't have the problem sleeping with the air conditioning on (or turning it on occasionally at night), this is also managable.
The Check in procedure was super easy and quick. The host was very helpful and also available all the time via Booking chat: answered every request/question very quickly. The room was clean and the location is a bit far from the centre but it has great bus connections so it wasn't a problem getting anywhere (main train station, beach, centre, etc). The breakfast was also really nice. We definitely recommend visiting Bari and staying at Tanzi Home! :)

1.A very tiny refrigerator full of bottles for sale, no place for our products that needed refrigerator. 2.In our deal breakfast was included but we had to walk to a local bar outside. This " breakfast" included only 1 piece of pastery (Cornetto) and cup of coffee or juice. In order to get a decent breakfast we had to add 5€ per person.
The instruction to get to the place and enter the room,were very clear and it went smoothly. We've got all information about buses and restaurants in the area. The room was clean and large enough to our needs. Good shampoo and body gel.

On the day of departure, the cleaning lady woke us up at 8:15 a.m. She was knocking on the door and trying to get into the room. She wanted to know when we were leaving. But check-out was at 10:00 a.m.

The location is roughly 30min walk away from the central train station, but we were expecting that, so it's not really a problem because closer accommodations can be found in a higher price range.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations, we could choose from coffees as well as different croissants or other sweets. Overall, the value of this accommodation is good for the price, it was clean, the staff was nice, and the neighbourhood seemed absolutely safe, we were not stressed about walking home late from the city center.

The surroundings are a bit noisy at night
Very nice and clean apartment, the check-in was very easy and convenient. The terrace was amazing to have a cup of coffee while listening to the sound of birds!

The shutters on the windows weren’t working, so we couldn’t block out the light in the morning, which was horrible for us. Apart from that, everything else was perfect.

Nobody came to clean. We had to pay for the breakfast although it was written as included. The location is far away from the center. The acoustics is very bad and we heard our neighbors in the next room very well.
